Why we should sterilise teenage girls ... temporarily at least

Last week, an intriguing proposition was mooted by Government minister Dawn Primarolo.

Teenage girls, she said, could be steered towards what is described as "long-term contraception".

This is now possible thanks to the development of contraceptive jabs and implants which can last up to five years.

In other words, there is a way of effectively sterilising girls for a lengthy period of time.

At what age? Well, doesn't 12 until 17 sound rather sensible?

This would have the advantage of bringing down the teenage pregnancy rate, so high in this country it makes us a disgrace among the nations - the worst offenders in Europe.

The abortion rate would fall sharply. And silly young girls could get on with the education that is meant to produce serious, responsible taxpayers, not benefit recipients.

Now, many people will see this modest proposal as little short of horrific - nothing less than state interference in our reproductive lives.

But think about it: it might not be such a bad idea.

We are moving into a science fiction age in which life itself can be created in a test tube, and it seems that, before long, perfect babies could be bred at will, largely free of hereditary disease and illness.

So, in my view, there is little point any more in feeling shock-horror at the idea of mass sterilisation.

Neither do I believe it will encourage "promiscuity" because girls will feel they have nothing to fear in sleeping around. In truth, they seem to be doing that already. I'm afraid we are now in a time when sex is mere recreational pleasure to thousands of young women.

The trouble is that pregnancy no longer holds the fear for teenagers it once did. The social stigma has gone.

Indeed, for many, it seems, a child has actually become a kind of perverse badge of honour.

Obviously, there are millions of sensible young girls, but for many, having a baby seems to be the logical, and even desirable, result of their teenage flings.

It it wasn't, they'd stir themselves to do something to prevent themselves getting pregnant, like taking the morning-after pill.

But they don't. Because the benefits of doing nothing to stop it are obvious.

Suddenly, they can give birth to someone who will offer unconditional love in a bleak, busy, money-grubbing world.

The council will offer a free home away from nagging parents. They will have independence, sexual freedom and no more humiliating exams to try to pass - because, more than likely, their education will fall by the wayside.

Nowadays, ask some girls why they want a baby so badly and they will say vaguely: "Oh, I want to fulfil myself."

Once, they would have confidently said of the father: "I love him. And I want a bit of me, a bit of him, to go on for all eternity."

It's not like that any more. Love is seen as little more than a neurotic dependency to the young.

The fear of pregnancy used to stop girls having sex. To be pregnant and unmarried was a major life disaster (as it is still in some of our ethnic communities.)

You were disgraced, soiled goods: the child was removed, no one would marry you.

I had a great aunt locked up for life in an asylum from the age of 20 until she died. She had been declared a "moral imbecile" because she had a baby out of wedlock.

My mother tried to rescue her - but to no avail. The rest of the family was against it. After 30 years, she was so institutionalised, anyway, that she didn't want to leave.

This condemnation of the sexually imprudent was not meant to be unkind. People were poor, babies without fathers suffered and there was no way women could earn money if they had a child.

It was a moral issue but the stigma was born out of necessity: a desperate attempt to stop girls from doing what came naturally until a father and a home could be provided.

But for all that, unwelcome babies went on being born - the human impulse to procreate being what it is.

How to have sex without getting pregnant was in those days a real mystery. Now we know everything there is to know about preventing babies, yet still girls take risks.

Understanding how the body works and what happens next seem to make no difference.

Currently, our teenage pregnancy rate is twice as high as in Germany, three times as high as in France and six times as high as in the Netherlands.

Is this because, in this country, getting pregnant while still at school has become a status symbol for the girls, as ASBOs have for the boys?

In spite of all the efforts of the Government's Teenage Pregnancy Unit, and millions of pounds spent on initiatives to persuade girls that having babies young is a bad, bad thing, the rates stay sky-high.

In 2005, there were 39,804 conceptions by under-18s in England - a rate of 41.3 per thousand.

The trouble for those who would tackle the pregnancy problem is that the very act of warning against pregnancy can be unproductive.

A certain proportion of teenagers like to defy fate - and the more you warn them not to smoke, drink, have sex, stay up late, join gangs, the more they will.

Defying authority, not doing what you're told, is, for many, part of growing up - the search for your own identity, a necessary preparation for leaving the nest. Persuasion doesn't work. The instinct to rebel goes too deep.

Boys have always wanted to have sex and notch up "scores" on the bedpost.

The trouble now is that the girls - who once wanted just to be loved by someone, anyone - are under intense peer pressure, don't want to be outdone or be seen to be 'square', and so behave like the boys.

So much for gender equality in the classroom!

It seems that many of today's girls just like being pregnant, and emotionally and physically - not just practically - have more to gain than lose if they are. Sex education hasn't helped, and may indeed have harmed.

Freud's view of the psychosexual development of the child has been ignored. His opinion was that you interfere with the "latency" phase of ages nine to 12 at your peril, for fear of stopping further development.

In Freud's theory, the latency phase is when a child unconsciously denies the facts of life until he or she is ready to face them. If unpalatable facts are forced down the child's throat it's traumatising, and progression to sexual maturity is halted.

In other words, if you start teaching the birds and the bees too early, all that the nine, ten or 11-year-olds will do is want to experiment with what they have been taught before they have the emotional capability to deal with the fallout.

The Government says it has tried everything to stop pregnancy rates rising - from school matrons to a blizzard of sex education, to free condoms and morning-after pills.

But it's not working. That's why I think sterilising girls for a few years isn't such a bad idea after all - and, when you think about it, it's a tempting solution for the State, too.

Once you stop your under-20s having babies, there's no end to the social improvements you could make.

If girls go on to college instead of minding babies, fewer children overall will be born. The more educated a girl, the fewer babies she is likely to have - education and fertility rates being in inverse proportion.

The maternity services, now so very over-stretched, would be better able to cope. Young mothers would not have the priority they now do when it comes to housing, and accommodation would be set free for those unfortunates clamouring on the waiting lists.

Education would benefit, too. Classrooms would be less plagued by fatherless lads whose ambition it is to cause nothing but trouble.

I suppose there are other ways we could try to tackle the problem. We could make it a lot less convenient for girls to get into trouble - and one obvious way is to overhaul the benefits system.

When it comes to receiving welfare, girls of 16 are treated as adults (though legally they can't vote or drink), and their parents have no legal obligation to house or support them.

If they won't or can't, then the State must. Putting that age up by a year or two might work wonders.

Then again, the recent law that allows a mother to claim benefits only until her child is six could be repealed because at present it can only encourage her to have another baby in order to keep on claiming benefits. And who wouldn't?

"Getting a job" sounds good - but what kind of local minimum wage job is the unfortunate mother likely to get anyway?

Theory and practice are so different. Another issue is that though many young girls "love babies", they dislike the children they grow up to be. Rearing a child is a lot more difficult than "having a baby".

Watch young mothers slap their troublesome offspring in the supermarket and see what I mean. Because you wanted a baby does not mean you wanted a child - with its separate, possibly difficult personality.

So the children of teenage mothers can suffer, too.

Not having babies takes intelligence, planning, prudence and boring appointments with doctors. The morning-after pill helps, but still means an inquisition from your friendly (or not-so-friendly) neighbourhood pharmacist.

So what do we do? Deprive potential children of life by sterilising a few hundred thousand girls society has decided are "too young" to breed, regardless of their biological capabilities?

Go for the quality of child they might produce in their 20s or 30s, rather than the quantity they could create if they start at 14? That, let's face it, is what's up for discussion.

There is, I admit, a dreadful gender unfairness in the suggestion that teenage girls should be sterilised. Shouldn't boys under 17 have their tubes tied, too? It takes two to make a baby.

What's sauce for the goose should be sauce for the gander. Perhaps the Government should start thinking about how that would work.

I wonder what birthday cards for 18-year-olds will look like in future? "I've got the key of the door, never been able to breed before!"

Since science has now devised a way of stopping girls getting pregnant without damaging their longterm reproductive health, the idea of enforcing sterility on girls under 17 seems to me a least worst option.

Small plane is crashed into tax offices in Austin Texas

AUSTIN (Reuters) – An apparently disgruntled man crashed a small plane into a federal building housing U.S. tax offices in Austin, Texas on Thursday in what local officials said was likely a deliberate attack.

Two people were taken to the hospital after the crash that set ablaze the seven-story building, Austin fire officials said. The pilot, identified by law enforcement sources as Joseph Andrew Stack, was found dead.

The incident renewed fears of domestic terrorism and gaps in security for private aircraft. The White House said it had no reason to believe there was a link to foreign terrorism and that President Barack Obama was briefed on the situation.

It was probably "a deliberate attack by one individual acting alone," Austin Police Chief Art Acevedo said, downplaying the threat of more attacks.

U.S. Representative Michael McCaul of Texas called it "a deliberate and intentional attack against a federal building."

A rambling note posted on the Internet and signed "Joe Stack" spelled out problems he had with the Internal Revenue Service tax agency. A law enforcement source said authorities were investigating the note.

"Well, Mr. Big Brother IRS man, let's try something different; take my pound of flesh and sleep well," the note said. It was not possible to independently determine the authenticity of the note, dated February 18, or its authorship.

Here is my take on it.

So a small plane hit a smaller sized building today. The obvious observation is that it cause more damage to the building, then the damage that building 7 took in the September 11 attacks (that no plane hit). But this building is still standing and building 7 is not. There is no evidence of molten metal in or under this building either.

While I write this I have CNN on the TV. Anderson Cooper is speaking with some other lady discussing that they have "evidence" that this man worked on his online post over several days, and there must be some way that they can watch for things like this online. So they can Identify these people before they do these kind of actions.
Hmmmm hinting towards Internet censorship a little? Using this event to filter online communications to keep us safe??

Times online has even starting to link this to the tea party movement. In this article (that mentions nothing about the tea party) they explain the events that happened in Austin today. I am also seeing reports that there was hazmat teams, and the local fire department right across the street from the building. Maybe they were doing a training program but I doubt it.

With things like this being so evident already. We will be feeling the effect from this somehow. It is hard to pin point how yet, but we will have are eyes wide open watching for it!

An attack on Israel would be considered an attack on Canada?????

Junior Foreign Affairs minister Peter Kent is suggesting Canada stands ready to throw its full military weight behind Israel, telling a Toronto publication that “an attack on Israel would be considered an attack on Canada.”

His office says Mr. Kent, the minister of state for Foreign Affairs of the Americas, was merely “paraphrasing” what Stephen Harper has said in the past regarding Israel.

“It’s not too far from what the [Prime Minister] has said,” Norm McIntosh, Mr. Kent’s chief of staff, told The Globe.

But the junior minister’s statement would appear to be evidence that the Harper government is shifting to an ever more solidly pro-Israel stance.

Mr. McIntosh declined to confirm whether this means that Canada would automatically declare war on an aggressor that attacked Israel.

In an interview published in Shalom Life, dated Feb. 12, Mr. Kent said: “Prime Minister Harper has made it quite clear for some time now and has regularly stated that an attack on Israel would be considered an attack on Canada.”

Mr. McIntosh pointed to Mr. Harper’s statements from May, 2008, marking the 60th anniversary of Israel, where the Prime Minister said: “Our government believes that those who threaten Israel also threaten Canada, because, as the last world war showed, hate-fuelled bigotry against some is ultimately a threat to us all, and must be resisted wherever it may lurk.”

“In this ongoing battle, Canada stands side-by-side with the State of Israel, our friend and ally in the democratic family of nations,” Mr. Harper said. “We have stood with Israel even when it has not been popular to do so, and we will continue to stand with Israel, just as I have always said we would.”

Surveillance Drones To Zap Protesters Into Submission

Illustrating once again that the prison planet being built around us far outstrips anything Aldous Huxley or George Orwell ever imagined, a Wired News report details how police forces worldwide are preparing to unveil drone aircraft that can not only conduct surveillance of protesters, but also zap them into submission with non-lethal weapons.

As part of their ongoing mission to “protect and serve” the new world order, cops across the world are getting access to military drones which allow them to “carry out surveillance on everyone from protesters and antisocial motorists to fly-tippers,” reports Wired News.

The report details how the future of policing will resemble something approaching a combination of They Live and The Running Man, with unmanned drones replacing police helicopters whizzing around everywhere torturing and knocking out anyone who misbehaves.

According to the report, this is a natural progression from CCTV cameras that shout at passers-by, currently deployed in several UK cities, only now drones will be fitted with LRAD acoustic devices, torture sound weapons that were indiscriminately used and abused during the G20 summit in Pittsburgh on innocent members of the public who were just walking down the street and had not even dared to engage in the criminal activity of expressing their First Amendment right to assemble.

“The LRAD has been tested on the Austrian S-100 unmanned helicopter, and the technology is ready if there is a police requirement,” states the article.

Also available to police will be a drone that can fire tear gas as well as rubber pellets to disperse anyone still living under the delusion that they were born in a democratic country.

“French company Tecknisolar Seni has demonstrated a portable drone armed with a double-barrelled 44mm Flash-Ball gun,” states the report. “Used by French special police units, the one-kilo Flash-Ball resembles a large calibre handgun and fires non-lethal rounds, including tear gas and rubber impact rounds to bring down a suspect without permanent damage — “the same effect as the punch of a champion boxer,” claim makers Verney-Carron.”

Of course the fact that the Flash-Ball devices have caused “permanent damage” in the form of head injuries is glossed over.

Another option will be a mini-flying saucer drone fitted with a Taser gun, primed to shoot 50,000-volts into anyone who refuses to bow down at the feet of global government.

“Taser stun guns are now so light (about 150 grams) that they could be mounted on the smaller drones. Antoine di Zazzo, head of SMP Technologies, which distributes tasers in France, says the company is fitting one to a small quad-rotor iDrone (another quad-rotor toy helicopter), which some have called a “flying saucer”.

Since police routinely use Tasers as a method of “pain compliance,” ie torture, and not in genuinely threatening situations, abuse of the devices is widespread in every country that has introduced them. Since June 2001, over 350 people have died in the United States after being hit with these “non-lethal weapons”. Imagine how incidents of abuse would skyrocket once the personal element of using a Taser is removed and they are strapped to marauding surveillance drones, eliminating any responsibility for deaths and injuries that occur.

Why not just equip the drones with hellfire missiles and have done with it? Now it’s admitted that the authorities treat any dissenter, any protester, anyone who questions the system, even anyone who takes a photograph in public as a terrorist, why not just blow us all away like they do to “insurgents” in Afghanistan?

The fact that every one of these fascistic and futuristic tools of enslavement is being primed to be used mainly against protesters only confirms that the police state is not coming, it’s not some future threat, it’s here in 2010 – we’re living in a world that does not tolerate dissent against its overlords, we’re truly living on a prison planet.

Subverted Tea Party Movement Told to Embrace Republican Platform

The Tea Party movement is now almost completely unrecognizable from what it was a few short years ago. It came to prominence in 2008 when the Libertarian Party of Illinois planned to hold an April 15, 2009 anti-tax “Boston Tea Party” in Chicago. In February 2009, the idea grew after CNBC personality Rick Santelli, speaking from the floor of the Chicago stock exchange, criticized the Obama administration’s tax and economic policies and urged Americans become Tea Party activists.

Establishment Republicans plan to run Sarah Palin as the Tea Party presidential candidate.

In fact, the idea began as the Boston Tea Party in 2006. It was founded by a group of former Libertarian Party members who criticized the party for its “abdication of political responsibilities,” declaring that “Americans deserve and desperately need a pro-freedom party that forcefully advocates libertarian solutions to the issues of today.” The Boston Tea Party opposed statism at all levels. “The Boston Tea Party supports reducing the size scope and power of government at all levels and on all issues, and opposes increasing the size, scope and power of government at any level, for any purpose.”

How things have changed.

It didn’t take long for establishment Republicans to steal the idea and claim it as their own. A few weeks after Rick Santelli made his comments, Ron Paul’s media coordinator Steve Gordon went on MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow show and complained about what he characterized as an attempt by Republicans to hijack the idea. Gordon specifically blamed former Republican House Speaker Newt Gingrich and Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee.

It didn’t take long for Republicans to embrace the idea. RNC Chairman Michael Steele, Sarah Palin, and Rep. Michele Bachmann from Minnesota have suggested the Tea Party should be rolled into the Republican Borg hive.

Now there will be a national Tea Party convention in Nashville. It will be a parade of Republican statists with former Alaskan governor Sarah Palin leading the charge. “I look forward to meeting many Americans who share a commitment to limited government, common sense and personal responsibility. This movement is truly a grassroots, organic effort. It’s not a top-down organization,” Palin wrote for USA Today, “it’s a ground-up call to action that already has both political parties rethinking the way they do business.”

Ground-up? Tea Party candidates for the 2010 mid-term elections “will be expected to support the Republican National Committee platform,” according to Fox News. “If a particular candidate meets the proposed Tea Party criteria he or she would be eligible for fundraising and grassroots Tea Party support.”

“Once elected to office, members would be required to join a Congressional Tea Party Caucus, attend regular meetings and be held accountable for the votes they cast. Those who stray from the Tea Party path would risk losing it’s support and a likely re-election challenge.”

In other words, business as usual. Under the rule of George W. Bush and the Republicans, “inflation-adjusted spending on the combined budgets of the 101 largest programs they vowed to eliminate in 1995 has grown by 27 percent, according to the libertarian Cato Institute. Eight years of a Republican president, six with a Republican-controlled Congress, resulted in bigger government, the biggest expansion of entitlements in 40 years and a $700 billion bailout of Wall Street that continues to grow,” writes Donny Ferguson of the Libertarian National Committee.

Come each April 1, John Gorman shakes his head and throws away the brown envelope marked Revenue Canada. He has only filed his federal taxes twice since 1980.

“I’m anything but part of the system,” he said. “We were trained to pay taxes. The taxman is illegal.”

The former Newmarket lawyer broke away from the conventional tax sentiment. He put his dislike of the government taking from his pocket and posted them for all Canadians to read.

“Everyone is sucked in,” he said. “About 99 per cent have no idea about what’s going on.”

Mr. Gorman created the Marvel-like CAPtain Canada, decorated in red and white superhero getup and cape.

He uses historical data and legal logic to fight the evil powers of the taxman. After the First World War, the federal government asked to use the provincial right to impose a direct tax on citizens because the war debt was so huge. The government promised to stop income taxes after the debt was paid, Mr. Gorman said.

“Collecting income tax by the federal government is not legislated,” he said. “Everyone’s paying a voluntary tax.”

His website is a collection of anti-tax articles and financial predictions, some of which have already taken place.

In 1983, when he was canvassing on behalf of farmers, he wrote his future predictions for the world market. He said there would be a war with many parties in the Middle East.

After a few years, a depression would hit North America that would be worse than the Great Depression of the 1930s. But his prediction was off by two years.

The war in the Middle East would start in 2000, he said.

“But it’s happening. The wars in Afghanistan and Iraq,” he said.

“And just look at the housing market in the States. They’re walking us into a depression.”

By “they” he means the government and the banks through the collection of taxes and interest rates.

Mr. Gorman suggests selling your home, if you owe more than 75 per cent in mortgage, stock up on food and water and start to buy small denominations of gold and silver.

The deepest part of the depression, he predicts, will hit before 2010. But, more importantly, stay close to friends and family.

“I want to be here to help my kids and grandkids through the Depression,” he said.

War Criminals: Arrest Warrants Requested

International arrest warrants have been requested for George W. Bush, Richard (Dick) Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, George Tenet, Condoleeza Rice and Alberto Gonzales at the International Criminal Court, The Hague, Netherlands.

Professor of Law Francis A. Boyle of the University of Illinois College of Law in Champain, United States of America, has issued a Complaint with the Prosecutor for the International Criminal Court against the above-mentioned for their practice of “extraordinary rendition” (forced disappearance of persons and subsequent torture) in Iraq and for criminal policy which constitutes Crimes against Humanity in violation of the Rome Statute which set up the ICC.

As such, the Accused (mentioned above) are deemed responsible for the commission of crimes within the territories of many States signatories of the Rome Statute, in violation of Rome Statute Articles 5 (1)(b), 7 (1)(a), 7 (1)(e), 7 (1)(g), 7(1)(h), 7(1)8i) and 7(1)(k). Despite the fact that the USA is not a signatory State, the ICC has the jurisdiction to prosecute under Article 12 (2)(a) of the Rome Statute.

This Article stipulates that the Court may exercise its jurisdiction if one or more States in which the conduct in question occurred has accepted the jurisdiction of the Court. Furthermore, the forced disappearance of persons and torture in deemed by the Rome Statute as a Crime against Humanity, one which is still ongoing.

The Exercise of Jurisdiction may be activated under Article 13, with respect to a crime committed under Article 5 if the Prosecutor has initiated an investigation. Professor Boyle, in his issue of complaint, respectfully requested that such an investigation be initiated.

The issue of complaint states “about 100 human beings have been subjected to enforced disappearances and subsequent torture by the Accused”, adds that some of them could still be alive today, and that an investigation could save these lives. Regarding those whose enforced disappearances led to their deaths, the Complaint requests a process of explanation and clarification for what would be a murder investigation.

Olympic security follows protester's friend

A Langara College student says she was shocked to be approached outside class by Olympic security officers and questioned about her friendship with a high-profile opponent of the 2010 Winter Games.

Danika Surm says she has nothing to do with the Olympic resistance movement, and her only connection is a friendship with protester and UBC professor Chris Shaw.

Surm said she was on her way to class at the south Vancouver campus last week when she was approached by two plainclothes police officers with the Integrated Security Unit, the force in charge of Olympic security.

She told them she had to write a biology quiz, so the officers said they would wait until she was done, she said.

When she came out of the classroom, the two officers questioned her about her friendship with Shaw, who teaches neuroscience at the University of British Columbia, and what she knew about his plans to protest against the Olympics in February.

Surm said the intimidating tactics have made her consider taking part in anti-Olympic protests.

"I can tell you that this is actually probably going to do exactly what they didn't want, which is trigger me to be more interested in making sure we are able to express our feelings in public, in a safe, but you know, an open manner," Surm said.

She wants to know how the security officers tracked her down and knew her cellphone number and class schedule.

"I just think it shows the degree of paranoia that the police and the City of Vancouver are reaching about the Olympics, and also the breach in civil rights and privacy that is going on," she said.
Officers visit professor's ex-wife

Shaw himself isn't surprised Surm was approached. The same thing happened to his ex-wife last week, he said, even though the two haven't been married for 15 years.

"When they are starting to surveil and visit people who have really only a secondary connection, then they are dealing with the entire thing as if they are dealing with a criminal investigation," Shaw said Tuesday.

"If the [security unit] thinks they have a criminal investigation on their hands, they should come clear with this and let the public know. They should let me know."

The Integrated Security Unit has not yet been reached for comment.

Opponents of the Games have been complaining for months that they and their families, friends and employers are being harassed and intimidated by the security unit.

In June, a group called the Olympic Resistance Network sent a lawyer's letter demanding the unit end what the group calls abusive and unlawful conduct against members.

Buried in the last two paragraphs of a story about alleged female suicide bombers coming from Yemen, an ABC News report contains the following bombshell.

“Federal agents also tell ABCNews.com they are attempting to identify a man who passengers said helped Abdulmutallab change planes for Detroit when he landed in Amsterdam from Lagos, Nigeria.”

“Authorities had initially discounted the passenger accounts, but the agents say there is a growing belief the man have played a role to make sure Abdulmutallab “did not get cold feet.”

Detroit lawyer Kurt Haskell maintained from the beginning that he saw a well-dressed Indian man aid the accused bomber to board the plane despite the fact that he had no passport and was on a terror watch list.

“While Mutallab was poorly dressed, his friend was dressed in an expensive suit, Haskell said. He says the suited man asked ticket agents whether Mutallab could board without a passport. “The guy said, ‘He’s from Sudan and we do this all the time,’” reported the Michigan Live news website.

FBI agents interviewed Haskell and he told them about the sharp-dressed man but officials refused to admit that a wider conspiracy was at hand, stoically maintaining the official story that Abdulmutallab had acted alone. Authorities claimed that videotapes did not show a second man accompanying Abdulmutallab and yet they refused to release any footage of the alleged bomber.

“Why is this not total breaking news?” asks Haskell’s wife on their family blog. “I think we now know WHY the video is not being released. Because IT SHOWS WHAT KURT SAID!!!!!! I mean, where is his apology? Where? They come out in the media, basically calling Kurt a liar, then they take it back, but it is in the bottom of another nonrelated article. Ridiculous. And still, to date, no authorities contacting KURT to ask him to look at the freaking video and help identify the guy. It’s so insane to me. We have an eyewitness to this, and they just don’t care.”

There seems little doubt that Abdulmutallab had at least one accomplice if not more. Authorities have remained silent on other eyewitness reports which described a man intently filming the alleged terrorist throughout the whole flight, a connection that strongly suggests the attempted bomber was involved in some kind of drill and that his strings were being pulled by people in more senior positions.

In addition, Flight 253 passengers reported seeing a third man connected to the incident being handcuffed by FBI agents after sniffer dogs found something suspect in his luggage. After initially denying any knowledge of this individual, authorities were forced to acknowledge his existence but claimed he had nothing to do with the attempted attack, completely contradicting multiple eyewitness accounts that state passengers were moved from a waiting area after it was made clear to them that a bomb had been found.

The fact that Abdulmutallab’s accomplices were all described as being Indian in appearance would contradict the story that has been spun around the issue in an effort to sell the public on naked body scanners in airports as well as deeper U.S. military involvement in Yemen.

The ludicrous spectacle of long-deceased boogeyman Osama bin Laden apparently claiming responsibility for the attempted attack this past weekend only confirmed that a fairytale was being contrived which was totally at odds with what eyewitnesses described.

Now that Haskell’s eyewitness account has been vindicated, it remains to be seen whether evidence of a wider conspiracy will be investigated or buried. There seems little doubt that the latter will be the case if Abdulmutallab’s accomplices don’t conveniently lead back to the Al-Qaeda patsies the establishment has already framed for the attack.

The updated numbers from the Ukraine Ministry of Health website indicates the number dead have now topped 1000. The 1005 fatalities reported on Tuesday is 9 higher than Monday's total, with 153 in Donetsk, which is 5 higher than the previous day. Alrhough the infection rate in Dontsk is below the epidemic threshold, the continuing increase in fatalities raises concerns that H1N1 with D225G/N in Ukraine is becoming more common.

An earlier isolate from Ukraine with D225G was classified as a low reactor, indicating the ferrent reference anti-sera produced a titer at least 4 four lower than the vaccine. This reduced titer raises concerns that D225G will offer a selective advantage in a population developing protective antibodies. The decline in cases across the Ukraine increases those concerns because the reduction in wild type receptors reduces the competing viral genomes. The 153 deaths in Donetsk is 50% higher than the second highest Oblast (Lviv with 103 deaths), which increases concerns of fatal variants in eastern Ukraine, along the border with Russia.

More information on deaths on the Russian side of the border would be useful.

Full Body Scanner FAILS To Detect Bomb Parts During Demonstration

A German television program's demonstration of full body scanners revealed that the controversial security devices may be able to make out such intimate details as breast implants, but can fail to detect bomb-making components.

In the TV broadcast, the scanner, which produces x-ray images so graphic it's been likened to 'virtual strip-searching,' caught the person's cell phone and Swiss Army knife, but missed a variety of objects hidden around his person that could be used to create and detonate a bomb.

Schneier on Security observes,

Admittedly, he only faced the scanner from the front and not from the side. But he also didn't hide anything in a body cavity other than his mouth -- I didn't think about that one -- he didn't use low density or thinly sliced PETN, and he didn't hide anything in his carry-on luggage.

The revelation that the scanner has overlooked potentially dangerous artifacts comes at around the 2:07 mark in the video below.

Schneir on Security concludes, "Full-body scanners: they're not just a dumb idea, they don't actually work."

Gizmodo's take: "full-body scanners are equal parts creepy and ineffective, the end."

Yet others have defended the devices, believing that can prevent passengers like the 'underwear bomber' from getting through airport security.

U.S. Troops Occupy the Symbol of Haitian Sovereignty

Imagine a huge earthquake strikes Washington, D.C. The Capitol collapses. Now imagine Mexican troops land in helicopters outside the ruin. They tell the media they are on a humanitarian mission but have strict rules of engagement. In other words, if things get out of hand — if the suddenly destitute residents of the District of Columbia riot because they have no food or water — the Mexican troops are under orders to shoot them.

Outrageous. No American would stand for this. They would demand the Mexicans leave and respect the sovereignty of the United States.

This is exactly what the United States military is doing in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.

“US troops swooped down in helicopters to take control of Haiti’s ruined presidential palace today as the earthquake relief operation gathered pace,” reports the Times Online. “Paratroopers from the 82nd Airborne division arrived in at least four Black Hawk helicopters to secure the executive mansion, a once elegant white building that collapsed in last week’s quake and is now surrounded by a vast refugee camp.”

“We are here to provide security to the hospital. We work with the government of Haiti. We have rules of engagement, but we are on a humanitarian mission,” explained Sergeant Bill Smith.

“I haven’t seen the Americans in the streets giving out water and food, but now they come to the palace,” said Wilson Guillaume, as some of the homeless living rough in the Champ de Mars square before the palace shouted abuse at the Americans.

“It’s an occupation. The palace is our power, our face, our pride,” added Feodor Desanges, another bystander.

The first occupation of Haiti by the United States began on July 28, 1915 and ended in mid-August, 1934. It was launched at the behest of the National City Bank of New York. Bankers and corporations (including the Haitian American Sugar Company) didn’t appreciate the people of Haiti overthrowing their puppet dictator, Jean Vilbrun Guillaume Sam, who was known for torturing and executing political prisoners.

Woodrow Wilson sent 330 U.S. Marines to Port-au-Prince. Secretary of the Navy, Admiral William Deville Bundy, was instructed to “protect American and foreign” interests, that is to say the interests of the National City Bank of New York and the Haitian American Sugar Company. Wilson’s government and the media deemed the invasion a mission to “re-establish peace and order.”

Historians note that Wilson’s version of what we now now call a “humanitarian mission” resulted in wanton murder, destruction, and the re-institution or virtual slavery in Haiti. According to Wilson Secretary of State Robert Lansing, “the African races are devoid of any capacity for political organization” and possess “an inherent tendency to revert to savagery and to cast aside the shackles of civilization which are irksome to their physical nature.”

The U.S. installed Senator Philippe Sudre Dartiguenave as the head of state. “When the National Assembly met, the Marines stood in the aisles with their bayonets until the man selected by the American Minister was made President,” Smedley Butler later wrote. Butler would administer Haiti’s local police force.

“My mental faculties remained in suspended animation while I obeyed the orders of the higher-ups. This is typical with everyone in the military,” Butler noted.

The United States leaned on Haiti to sign a treaty legitimizing the occupation and putting Haitian finances and government under the control of the U.S. for the next 20 years. The act also disbanded the Haitian army, creating in its place a single US-led, 3,000-man police force known as the Gendarmerie d’Haiti which answered to the US Secretary of State.

The Gendarmerie oversaw the implementation of a sadistic U.S. law reviving the practice of conscripted labor — that is to say, slavery — which required Haitian peasants to work on roads for three days a year. Many workers, however, were forced to work bound with ropes for weeks and even months at a time. The practice reminded Haitians of their slavery under the French and it inspired a rebellion by 40,000 Haitians in 1918. The Marines killed 2,000 of them.

Wilson appointed General John H. Russell as high commissioner of Haiti. The installed president, Louis Borno, was an admirer of Mussolini. Borno was appointed after the previous Haitian president, Sudre Dartiguenave, refused to sign an agreement to repay debts to the National City Bank (later to be named Citibank) which controlled Haiti’s National Bank and railroad system. Taxes were levied on the poor people of Haiti and paid directly to the banksters in New York.

Official colonial occupation ended in 1934 but the United States made sure to install a series of brutal dictators to protect the interests of the banks and corporations. “Papa Doc” and his successor “Baby Doc” Duvalier (who liked to command death squads) were the most notorious of these dictators. The Duvaliers relied on the “Tonton Macoute” death squad to make sure the people of Haiti didn’t get any funny ideas about democracy.

Under the neoliberal model now operating around the world with the assistance of the World Bank and the IMF, Haitians were forced to export their food and were systematically stripped of their ability to feed themselves and to fund basic government services.

In 1986, IMF loan sharks gave Haiti a $24.6 million loan under its Structural Adjustment Facility program. As a condition, Haiti was expected to cut public spending, close “inefficient public enterprises”, and “liberalize” its trade policy. A few years later, thanks to the banksters, Haiti was obliged to lower tariffs on rice and put an end to support for domestic rice farmers. This had the effect of putting much of Haiti’s rice farmers out of business.

“Haitian rice growers were crushed by government-subsidized U.S. farm exports,” writes Paul Street. “The nation’s predominantly female and captive labor force was funneled into slave-like conditions in mainly U.S.-owned export-oriented assembly plants and sweatshops. Millions of Haitians were consigned to permanent structural unemployment, the drug trade, scavenging, and other hallmark activities of the informal proletariat of the world system’s sprawling shantytown periphery.”

“The hyper-concentration of poor Haitians in seismically hyper-vulnerable subs-standard housing in and around Port au-Prince, it is worth noting, is a direct outcome of U.S. trade policies that undermined Haitian small farmers, sending rural residents into and around the capital city,” Street explains.

Afghan anger over 'Koran burning' in Kandahar

Protesters alleging that foreign troops burned a copy of the Koran have clashed with Afghan and coalition troops in Helmand province, police say.

They said that at least six people were killed in the violence which took place in Garmsir district.

Nato denied foreign troops had desecrated the Koran and said there was no evidence civilians had been killed.

Violence in the south has risen recently as UK and US forces continue their offensive against the Taliban.

Violence erupted on Tuesday in the Garmsir district over rumours that Nato-led forces had defiled a copy of the Muslim holy book during a military operation, local residents and police said.

According to reports, more than 1,000 protesters gathered to demonstrate.

The shooting of the protesters occurred after an Afghan national guardsman was killed by gunfire "from the demonstrators' side", the AFP news agency quoted deputy provincial police chief Khamal Dinkhan as saying.

The Nato-led International Security Assistance Force (Isaf) said in a statement on Tuesday that its troops had shot dead an "insurgent sniper" who had shot an Afghan official in the Garmsir area.

"While denying these allegations, we take them very seriously and support a combined investigation with local Afghan authorities," Isaf spokesman Maj-Gen Michael Regner said.

"Isaf is an international force that includes Muslim soldiers, and we deplore such an action under any circumstances."

A Nato spokesman said there was no information to back up claims of civilian deaths in the incident.

Civilian deaths at the hands of foreign troops have led to widespread anger among Afghans.

President Hamid Karzai has previously said that such deaths were damaging to the fight against militancy.

Transport minister defends invasive search of senior

OTTAWA — Transportation Minister John Baird was unapologetic Sunday about the invasive search of an 85-year-old woman conducted by security personnel at the Ottawa Airport.

Baird was asked by media Sunday about the treatment of the four-foot-10, 90-pound woman who was travelling from Ottawa to Toronto on Dec. 28. The woman was asked to remove her boots and then unzip her pants. A female inspection officer then poked at her abdomen.

The woman’s niece, Cynthia Sutcliffe, said that the former federal public servant is now “terrified” of airport security and that the search was “extreme.”

But Baird argued that even people who seem non-threatening cannot be disregarded by security.

“The reality is, as we’ve seen in Iraq, the al-Qaida network has put explosive devices on developmentally disabled adults and then sent them into marketplaces where their bombs were detonated,” Baird said on the Sunday TV show Question Period. “Obviously we have to deal with every concern. I think we should use common sense.”

But Sutcliffe said her aunt’s search doesn’t pass that “common sense” test.

“I still stand by my disappointment in how they treated my aunt, but I understand Baird’s position at the same time,” said Sutcliffe.

Sutcliffe’s aunt was taken from an Air Canada security line during a random search.

“She has osteoporosis and her stomach protrudes a little bit,” Sutcliffe said. “But that is no reason for this kind of search.”

Sutcliffe said her aunt is frightened she will be searched again.

Next time her aunt flies, Sutcliffe said she will get a pass that will allow her to take her aunt to the boarding area, an option she was previously unaware of.

As part of new airport security measures, Baird explained that 44 full-body scanners, at a cost of $11 million, will soon be arriving in major airports across Canada. Twelve scanners are arriving this week while the rest will come in five to 10 weeks.

At Canadian airports, adults will have the option of either going through a full-body scanner or being subject to a pat-down. Youth under 18 will not have to go through a scanner and will be patted down instead, said Baird.

Sutcliffe is skeptical of full-body scans because some elderly people who go through the scanners will be wearing incontinence briefs.

“I want them to catch the bad guys, don’t kid yourself. But if it’s your grandmother or grandfather who is going to be wearing those undergarments for personal incontinence and things, and then they start saying, ‘Well the guy that blew up the plane had the stuff in his underwear,’ where do we stop?”

Officials: Suspected US Drones Kill 13 In Pakistan

ISLAMABAD -- Suspected U.S. drone missile strikes killed 13 people in Pakistan's volatile northwest Wednesday, the latest of five such attacks in the past week targeting an area believed to be a hideout for militants involved in a suicide attack on a CIA base in Afghanistan.

The strikes highlight Washington's growing reliance on unmanned aircraft to control militants staging cross-border attacks on U.S. troops in Afghanistan. The Obama administration has pressed Pakistan to crack down on such groups, but the government has resisted, saying it has its hands full battling local Taliban militants waging war against the state.

U.S. military commanders are especially concerned about the Haqqani network, an Afghan Taliban group with links to al-Qaida which operates from Pakistan's North Waziristan tribal area. Analysts suspect the group played a role in the Dec. 30 attack that killed seven CIA employees in Khost province, just across the border from North Waziristan.

Since the attack, suspected U.S. drones have carried out an unusually high number of strikes in North Waziristan, part of a larger trend of President Barack Obama using the aircraft more frequently in Pakistan than had his predecessor.

In the first attack Wednesday, a suspected drone fired two missiles at a house in the Datta Khel region of North Waziristan, killing seven people, said two intelligence officials.

A second strike occurred as people were retrieving bodies from the rubble of the house, killing six more, said the officials, speaking on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to talk to the media.

H1N1 Flu Is a False Pandemic, Health Expert Claims

A leading health expert said the swine flu scare was a "false pandemic" led by drug companies that stood to make billions from vaccines, The Sun reported Monday.

Wolfgang Wodarg, head of health at the Council of Europe, claimed major firms organized a "campaign of panic" to put pressure on the World Health Organization (WHO) to declare a pandemic.

He believes it is "one of the greatest medicine scandals of the century," and he has called for an inquiry.

An emergency debate on the issue will be held by the Council of Europe later this month.

The Council of Europe covers 47 European countries and seeks to develop common and democratic principles between the nations.

Wodarg said, "It's just a normal kind of flu. It does not cause a tenth of deaths caused by the classic seasonal flu.

"The great campaign of panic we have seen provided a golden opportunity for representatives from labs who knew they would hit the jackpot in the case of a pandemic being declared.

UK troops 'executed Iraqi grandmother'

Allegations that a 62-year-old Iraqi grandmother was tortured and executed by British soldiers after her family home was raided three years ago are being investigated by the Royal Military Police.

The Army's involvement in the death and abuse of Sabiha Khudur Talib is one of the most serious charges to be made against Britain during its six-year occupation of southern Iraq.

UK government ministers are to be given previously unseen police reports from a Basra crime unit which conclude that Mrs Talib's body was dumped on a roadside in a British body bag in November 2006. There was a bullet hole in her abdomen and her face had injuries consistent with torture, police reported.

U.S., NATO Expand Afghan War To Horn Of Africa And Indian Ocean

In parallel with the escalation of the war in South Asia – counterinsurgency operations in Afghanistan and drone missile attacks in Pakistan – the United States and its NATO allies have laid the groundwork for increased naval, air and ground operations in the Horn of Africa and the Gulf of Aden.

During the past month the U.S. has carried out deadly military strikes in Yemen: Bombing raids in the north and cruise missile attacks in the south of the nation. Washington has been accused of killing scores of civilians in the attacks in both parts of the country, executed before the December 25 Northwest Airlines incident that has been used to justify the earlier U.S. actions ex post facto. And, ominously, that has been exploited to pound a steady drumbeat of demands for expanded and even more direct military intervention.

The Pentagon’s publicly disclosed military and security program for Yemen grew from $4.6 million in 2006 to $67 million last year. “That figure does not include covert, classified assistance that the United States has provided.” [1]

In addition, “Under a new classified cooperation agreement, the U.S. would be able to fly cruise missiles, fighter jets or unmanned armed drones against targets in the country, but would remain publicly silent on its role in the airstrikes.” [2]

On January 1 General David Petraeus, the chief of the Pentagon’s Central Command, in charge of the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq as well as operations in Yemen and Pakistan, was in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad and said of deepening military involvement in Yemen, “We have, it’s well known, about $70 million in security assistance last year. That will more than double this coming year.” [3]

The following day Petraeus was in the capital of Yemen where he met with the country’s president, Ali Abdullah Saleh, to discuss “continued U.S. support in rooting out the terrorist cells.” [4]

White House counterterrorism adviser (Assistant to the President for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism) John Brennan briefed President Barack Obama on Petraeus’ visit to Washington’s new war theater and afterward stated “We have made Yemen a priority over the course of this year, and this is the latest in that effort.” [5]

The alleged terrorist cells in question are identified by U.S. and other Western governments as being affiliated with al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP). However, on January 4 CNN reported that “A senior U.S. official cited a rebellion by Huti [Houthi] tribes in the north, and secessionist activity in the southern tribal areas” as of concern to Washington. [6]

The Houthis’ confessional background is Shi’a and not Sunni Islam and the opposition forces in the south are led by the Yemeni Socialist Party, so attempts to link either with al-Qaeda are inaccurate, self-serving and dishonest.

In both the north and south the United States, its NATO allies – Britain and France closed their embassies in Yemen earlier this week in unison with the U.S. – and Saudi Arabia are working in tandem to support the Saleh government in what over the past month has become a state of warfare against opposition forces in the country. Saudi Arabia has launched regular bombing raids and infantry and armored attacks in the north of the country and, according to Houthi rebel sources, been aided by U.S. warplanes in deadly attacks on villages. Houthi spokesmen have accused Riyadh of firing over a thousand missiles inside Yemen, and in late December the Saudi Defense Ministry acknowledged that its military casualties over the preceding month included 73 dead, 26 missing and 470 wounded. In short, a cross-border war on the Arabian peninsula.

The West, though, has even larger plans for Yemen, ones which include integrating military operations from Northeast Africa to the Chinese border. Typical of recent statements by U.S. officials and their Western allies, last weekend British Prime Minister Gordon Brown disingenuously claimed that “The weakness of al Qaeda in Pakistan has forced them out of Pakistan and into Yemen and Somalia.” [7]

Brown told the BBC on January 3 “Yemen has been recognized, like Somalia, to be one of the areas we have got to not only keep an eye on, but we’ve got to do more. So it’s strengthening counter-terrorism cooperation, it’s working harder on intelligence efforts.” [8] It is up to Mr. Brown to explain why, if al-Qaeda has been “forced out” of Pakistan, he is adding soldiers to the U.S. and NATO surge that will soon bring combined Western troop numbers to over 150,000 in Afghanistan while intensifying deadly attacks inside Pakistan itself.

The British prime minister has also called for an international meeting on Yemen for later this month and announced that “The UK and the US have agreed to fund a counter-terrorism police unit in Yemen….” [9]

In Western news reports, or rather rumor peddling, Yemeni rebels are accused of supplying weapons to Somali opposite numbers and the second are reported to have offered fighters to the former.

In short the officially discarded but in fact revived and expanded “global war on terrorism” is now to be fought in a single theater of war that extends from the Red Sea to Pakistan. A joint endeavor by the Pentagon’s Central and Africa Commands and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization to build upon the consolidation of almost the entire European continent under NATO and Pentagon control and the ceding of the African continent to the new U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM). (Except for Egypt, an individual Pentagon asset and NATO Mediterranean Dialogue partner.)

In fact the Central Command was inaugurated by the Ronald Reagan administration in 1983 on the foundations of the Rapid Deployment Joint Task Force (RDJTF) that his predecessor Jimmy Carter activated three years before. [10] The latter developed out of the Rapid Deployment Forces (RDF) launched directly to counter developments in Afghanistan and Somalia in 1979 (an integral component of the Carter Doctrine) and was deliberately designed to establish military control of the Horn of Africa, the Arabian Sea and the Western Indian Ocean.

Administrations may depart – George W. Bush and Tony Blair have left public office – and names may change – the global war on terror has been rechristened overseas contingency operations – but Washington’s global geopolitical ambitions, limitless since the collapse of the Warsaw Pact and the Soviet Union in 1991, have only grown more universal and the military means employed for their realization more aggressive.

The White House and its European allies have of late resuscitated and inflated the al-Qaeda specter to a degree not witnessed since the immediate aftermath of September 11, 2001.

Under the guise of protecting the American homeland from this shadowy and ubiquitous entity, the Pentagon is involved in military operations from West Africa to East Asia against among other decidedly non-Osama bin Laden-linked forces left-wing groups in Colombia, the Philippines and Yemen; Shi’a militias in Lebanon and Yemen; ethnic rebels in Mali and Niger; a Christian extremist rebellion in Uganda.

Like the infamous 19th century grave robbers William Burke and William Hare, paid so well to provide cadavers to the Edinburgh Medical College that, running out of corpses to sell, created them, al-Qaeda is a dependable villain to be evoked as needed.

Al-Shabaab fighters in Somalia can be conflated with pirates in the Gulf of Aden to provide the pretext for a permanent NATO and allied European Union naval presence in a nexus that includes the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea leading into the Persian Gulf and most of the eastern coast of Africa.

The American component of the Greater Afghan War is Operation Enduring Freedom, which takes in Afghanistan, Cuba (Guantanamo Bay Naval Base), Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Jordan, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, the Philippines, Seychelles, Sudan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Yemen.

Djibouti, which hosts some 2,500 U.S. military personnel in the Pentagon’s first permanent base in Africa, is also the headquarters of the U.S.’s Combined Joint Task Force – Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA), set up in 2001 several months before Operation Enduring Freedom and overlapping with it in many respects. The CJTF-HOA, based in the French military base of Camp Lemonier, was transferred from the Pentagon’s Central Command to its Africa Command on October 1, 2008 when AFRICOM was formally activated.

Its area of responsibility includes Djibouti, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Kenya, Seychelles, Somalia, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda and Yemen. Its areas of interest are Comoros, Mauritius, and Madagascar. The last three are, like Seychelles, island nations in the Indian Ocean. The U.S. expanded Camp Lemonier to five times its original size in 2006 and troops from all branches of the U.S. armed services “use the base when not working ‘downrange’ in countries such as Kenya, Ethiopia and Yemen.” [11]

In announcing recently that “Yemen has received military equipment from the United States to aid the government’s fight against the al-Qaeda network in the south of the country,” a German news agency added this background information: “Yemen, in the 1990s, welcomed back Arab fighters who left Afghanistan after the fall of the Soviet Union.” [12]

As with Afghanistan itself and other locations where the American military is fighting insurgent groups – the Philippines, Somalia and Yemen – the Pentagon is frequently confronting fighters funded, armed and trained by its own government in Pakistan from 1978-1992 under Operation Cyclone, the largest-ever CIA covert undertaking.

A 2008 edition of U.S. News & World Report, a magazine that can hardly be accused of being unfriendly to the White House and the Pentagon, wrote of the war in Afghanistan that “two of the most dangerous players are violent Afghan Islamists named Gulbuddin Hekmatyar and Jalaluddin Haqqani, according to U.S. officials.” [13]

An assessment repeated in the August 30, 2009 Commander’s Initial Assessment of General Stanley McChrystal, commander of all U.S. and NATO forces in Afghanistan. The report, the basis for the White House increasing troop strength in the war theater to over 100,000, stated that “The major insurgent groups in order of their threat to the mission are: the Quetta Shura Taliban (05T), the Haqqani Network (HQN), and the Hezb-e Islami Gulbuddin (HiG).”

The U.S. News & World Report feature provided this background information:

“[T]hese two warlords — currently at the top of America’s list of most wanted men in Afghanistan — were once among America’s most valued allies. In the 1980s, the CIA funneled hundreds of millions of dollars in weapons and ammunition to help them battle the Soviet Army….Hekmatyar, then widely considered by Washington to be a reliable anti-Soviet rebel, was even flown to the United States by the CIA in 1985.”

“U.S. officials had an even higher opinion of Haqqani, who was considered the most effective rebel warlord….Haqqani was also one of the leading advocates of the so-called Arab Afghans, deftly organizing Arab volunteer fighters who came to wage jihad against the Soviet Union and helping to protect future al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden.” [14]

In the name of combating the very same bin Laden and al-Qaeda, the U.S. and its NATO allies are now, in addition to increasing combined military forces waging a war in Afghanistan now in its ninth year to over 150,000, more than the Soviet Union ever deployed to that nation:

Intensifying deadly drone missile, helicopter gunship and commando attacks inside neighboring Pakistan. A recent government report in that nation tabulated that 708 people had been killed last year in CIA drone attacks alone. Only five of those were identified as al-Qaeda and Taliban suspects. [14] On January 6 at least thirteen more were killed in a missile attack in the Pakistani tribal agency of North Waziristan.

Last month an American military newspaper reported that “A 1,000-strong Marine combat task force capable of rapidly deploying to hot spots could soon be at the disposal of the new U.S. Africa Command,” which announcement came “just a few months after U.S. Special Forces staged a daring daylight raid deep inside southern Somalia” and after another Marine force “had already deployed in support of training missions in Uganda and Mali.” [15]

In late October of last year NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen was in the United Arab Emirates [UAE] to rally NATO’s Istanbul Cooperation Initiative partners for a future confrontation with Iran. Addressing a conference on NATO-UAE Relations and Future Prospects of the Istanbul Cooperation Initiative, he expanded his mission to recruit the Persian Gulf monarchies for the ever-expanding Greater Afghan War. “We have a shared interest in helping countries like Afghanistan and Iraq to stand on their feet again, fostering stability in the Middle East…and preventing countries like Somalia and Sudan from slipping deeper into chaos.” [16]

Two months earlier it was reported that “About 75 U.S. military personnel and civilians will be headed to the Seychelles islands in the coming weeks to set up…Reaper operations, which could start in October or November. U.S. Africa Command is calling the Navy-led mission Ocean Look.

“The U.S. will base the Reapers – to be used for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance – at Seychelles’ Mahe regional airport….” [17] The Reaper is the Pentagon’s newest “hunter-killer” unmanned aerial vehicle (drone) which is equipped with fifteen times the firepower and travels at three times the speed of its Predator forerunner, used to devastating effect in Pakistan and Somalia. Last October Somali rebels claimed to have shot down an American drone and local “residents routinely report suspected US drones flying over [their city]. The drones are believed to be launched from warships in the Indian Ocean.” [18]

The permanent stationing of U.S. military forces in Seychelles is part of a pattern in recent years of basing American troops to man missile batteries, interceptor missile radar sites, air bases, counterinsurgency forward bases and other installations in countries where their presence would have been inconceivable even a few years ago: Afghanistan, Colombia, Bulgaria, Djibouti, Iraq, Israel, Kyrgyzstan, Mali, Poland and Romania. A report of January 7 claims that the U.S. plans to establish an air base in Yemen in the Socotra archipelago in the Indian Ocean. [19]

Later it was revealed that “In addition to the Reaper UAVs, the U.S. military is also considering basing Navy P-3 Orion patrol aircraft in the Seychelles for a limited time. Like the Reaper, the Orion can survey a large region….” [20]

A Middle Eastern news source reported on this development as follows:

“The United States is taking its military venture in Africa to new levels amid suspicions that Washington could be advancing yet another hidden agenda.

“American operatives are expected to fly pilot-less surveillance aircraft over the Seychellois [Seychelles] territory from US ships off its coast, in what Washington claims are [deployments] meant to spy on Somali pirates….[S]imilar pretexts were used to justify the US invasion of Afghanistan, the missile attacks in Pakistan, and its waning military operations in Iraq….Washington has also started to equip Mali with USD 4.5 million worth of military vehicles and communications equipment, in what is reported to be an increasing US involvement in Africa.” [21]

It did not take long for the U.S. to put the Reapers into operation. In late October Associated Press reported “U.S. military surveillance drones are patrolling off Somalia’s coast for the first time….U.S. military officials say unmanned drones called Reapers, stationed in the island nation of Seychelles, are patrolling the Indian Ocean. [22]

“The developments come as the White House seeks grounds to establish a major military presence in Africa.

“The US military says it has deployed its drones ['the size of a jet fighter'], capable of carrying missiles to patrol waters off Somalia….” [23]

Washington’s attempt to establish an Afghanistan-Pakistan-Somalia-Yemen connection is intimately connected with its plans for Africa as a whole. [24]

On January 4 a U.S. military website published this update:

“U.S. Africa Command has bolstered its anti-piracy forces with the recent addition of maritime patrol aircraft and more personnel in the Seychelles islands.

“The Navy last month deployed three P-3 Orion aircraft from the Maine-based VP-26 Tridents, along with 112 sailors, to the Seychelles to patrol the waters off East Africa….Patrol Squadron 26’s insignia, a skull over a compass and two bombs or torpedoes that form an X, resembles the Jolly Roger flag, which symbolizes piracy.” [25]

What sort of pirates the Pentagon is using as the pretext for its military buildup in the Horn of Africa and Eastern Africa as a whole was demonstrated last September when “Foreign troops in helicopters strafed a car…in a Somali town…killing two men and capturing two others who were wounded, witnesses said. U.S. military officials said American forces were involved in the raid.”

“Two U.S. military officials said forces from the U.S. Joint Special Operations Command were involved.” [26] The Joint Special Operations Command was headed up by Stanley McChrystal from 2003 to 2008. He has moved on from overseeing counterinsurgency operations in Iraq during those years to assuming control over all U.S. and NATO operations in Afghanistan.

A witness also reported that “the helicopters took off from a warship flying a French flag” [27] and a rebel source said “We are getting information that French army gunships attacked a car, destroying it completely and taking some of the passengers.” [28]

French military forces remain in the former colony of Djibouti where they train for operations not only in Afghanistan but in several former African possessions. Troops, warplanes and armored vehicles from NATO nations – under the flags of NATO itself, the European Union, France and the United States – have intervened in civil and cross-border conflicts across the entire width of Africa over the past few years: Somalia, Djibouti-Eritrea, Chad, the Central African Republic, the Darfur region of Sudan and the Ivory Coast; from the Horn of Africa to the oil-rich Gulf of Guinea.

A report from last month provides some indication of the French role on the continent. Radio France Internationale described “French soldiers in Djibouti train[ing] for Afghanistan and keep[ing] an eye on Africa” with the following details:

“Twelve special forces commandos arrived first” and “the army…storm[ed] the beach….The exercise, seen as crucial for battle preparedness in a region infamous for its fractious politics, included all the country’s military sectors – sea, land and air.

“As desert tanks zoomed onto the shore Mirage jets criss-crossed the open sky. Meanwhile, land troops were dispatched from the mouths of armoured personnel carriers and helicopters airlifted artillery guns onto the ground.

“‘It’s a show of force. It shows what France is able to do militarily,’ said one army officer.

“In recent years French troops in Djibouti have been involved in a number of…military missions in Africa. They helped reinforce the UN brigade patrolling Cote d’Ivoire and last year provided logistical and tactical help to Djiboutian soldiers warding off an attack from neighbouring Eritrea.

“For the time being, the first theatre of combat these troops will see is Afghanistan, where France is part of the Nato contingent. The mountainous, arid countryside closely resembles Djibouti’s own undulating moonscape.

“The troops taking part are a contingent of a 2,500-strong force based in Djibouti.” [29]

In addition to intermittent armed clashes between troops from Djibouti and Eritrea, in the past weeks reports have surfaced of deadly fighting within Eritrea and between that nation and neighboring Ethiopia. Djibouti and Ethiopia are the West’s client regimes and military proxies in the Horn of Africa and, as is demonstrated above, the integration of the South Asian and Northeast African war fronts is proceeding rapidly.

Starting in the autumn of 2008 NATO began what it calls counter-piracy operations off the coast of Somalia and further into the Gulf of Aden, often in league with comparable deployments by the European Union, with which it shares warships, commanders and “common strategic interests” under the Berlin Plus and other arrangements. [30]

The NATO naval surveillance and interdiction operation in and near the Horn of Africa is an extension of its effective takeover of the entire Mediterranean Sea with Operation Active Endeavor [31] initiated in 2001 under the Alliance’s Article 5 mutual military assistance clause and augmented by the blockade of Lebanon’s Mediterranean coast by NATO nations’ warships under UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) auspices that began after Israel’s assault on the country in 2006. The latter’s Maritime Task Force (MTF) “has hailed some 27,000 ships and referred nearly 400 suspicious vessels to Lebanese authorities for further inspection.

“Thirteen countries – Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Indonesia, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden and Turkey – have contributed naval units to the MTF.” [32]

The NATO and EU deployments in the Gulf of Aden are the first such naval operations in the region in both organizations’ history and the EU’s first in African coastal waters.

The expansion of military presence into the Gulf of Aden and the Arabian Sea gives NATO nations control of waterways ranging from the Strait of Gibraltar to the Strait of Hormuz.

As veteran Indian diplomat and analyst M K Bhadrakumar described it in 2008, “By acting with lightning speed and without publicity, NATO surely created a fait accompli.

“NATO’s naval deployment in the Indian Ocean region is a historic move and a milestone in the alliance’s transformation. Even at the height of the Cold War, the alliance didn’t have a presence in the Indian Ocean. Such deployments almost always tend to be open-ended.

“In 2007, a NATO naval force visited Seychelles in the Indian Ocean and Somalia and conducted exercises in the Indian Ocean and then re-entered the Mediterranean via the Red Sea in end-September.” [33]

He added: “US officials are on record that Africom and NATO envisage an institutional linkup in the downstream.

“The overall US strategy is to incrementally bring NATO into Africa so that its future role in the Indian Ocean (and Middle East) region as the instrument of US global security agenda becomes optimal.” [34]

Last August the chief of AFRICOM, General William Ward, said that Somalia was “a central focus of the U.S. military on the continent.”

To indicate the scope of Pentagon plans in not only Somalia but the region, “General William Ward has pledged continued support to Somalia’s transitional federal government….He made his remarks during a visit to Nairobi, Kenya, which is a key U.S. ally in the region.

“When asked about U.S. warnings to Eritrea against its alleged support of al-Shabab, the U.S. general condemned any outside support for the Somali rebels.” [35]

U.S., British and other Western officials have been straining to establish (the most) tenuous connection between the so-called AfPak war front and the need for direct military intervention in East Africa and the Arabian Peninsula, as was seen earlier with the British prime minister’s risible claim that NATO has been so successful in expelling alleged al-Qaeda elements from Pakistan that they have sought refuge in Somalia and Yemen. Rather than, more logically, in locations like Kashmir, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

Similarly, Western governments are sparing no effort to fabricate or exaggerate links between the numerous armed conflicts in the Horn of Africa. Somali rebels are accused of supporting the government of Eritrea in its border conflict with Djibouti; they are also accused of offering fighters for the internal conflict in southern Yemen.

In return, Yemeni rebels are accused of providing arms for Somalia’s al-Shabaab fighters and hovering over it all is the implication that Iran is sponsoring Arab Shi’a forces in Yemen’s north.

There is a plethora of evidence, however, documenting genuine foreign intervention in the region: U.S. missile, bombing, helicopter and special forces attacks in Somalia and Yemen and coordination with the armies of Djibouti and Ethiopia in conflicts inside Somalia and with Eritrea. Saudi air and land assaults in Yemen with the resultant deaths of hundreds and displacement of thousands of civilians. French commando operations in Somalia and combat training in Djibouti for warfare in the area and beyond.

The true outside forces engaged in military actions are ignored in the West in favor of unsubstantiated contentions that the region is being inflamed by the same adversaries the U.S. and NATO are waging war against on the Indian subcontinent and that the villains in and near the Horn of Africa are, in addition to being the local al-Qaeda franchise, inextricably linked and moreover somehow tied with piracy operations. Such are the tortured logic and far-fetched subterfuges used to prepare Western publics for an escalation of military intervention over 3,000 kilometers across the Indian Ocean from the Afghanistan-Pakistan war theater.

NATO warships are bridging the two extremes. Last August the military bloc launched its second naval operation off the coast of Somalia the name of which, Ocean Shield, alone indicates the scope of the Alliance’s objectives in the Africa-Asia-Middle East triangle. The mission includes military ships from Britain, Greece, Italy, Turkey and the U.S. and according to NATO “other countries are thinking of coming to reinforce the operation which could evolve at any moment.” A NATO spokesman said at the time, “No timeframe has been set for this long-term operation, which will last as long as it’s deemed necessary.” [36]

The European Union is conducting a complementary mission, Operation Atalanta, “which has six frigates and works with fleets from the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and the U.S.-led coalition” and “operates in the Gulf of Aden and the Indian Ocean…from Somali territorial waters east to 60 degrees longitude, which runs south from the eastern tip of Oman and 250 miles east of the Seychelles.” [37] Rear Admiral Peter Hudson at the fleet’s command center in Britain announced last month that the operation may expand its range even further, taking in most of the western Indian Ocean.

Last September the commander of NATO’s Maritime Group 2 in the Gulf of Aden met with officials of Somalia’s Puntland autonomous region to plan operations.

In mid-December NATO made a direct link between its South Asian war and its expansion into the Indian Ocean by announcing it was considering dispatching AWACS surveillance aircraft to the second location. “Commanders are seeking to back up a five-ship counterpiracy task force with one of the airborne warning and control system surveillance planes, possibly sharing it with the allied International Security Assistance Force fighting in Afghanistan.” [38]

On the first day of this year a Canadian news agency, in a feature titled “Canada to help defend Yemen from al-Qaida reinforcements,” revealed that “A NATO spokeswoman said warships patrolling international shipping lanes through the Gulf of Aden, which separates Somalia from Yemen, were aware al-Shabab, an al-Qaida-inspired armed group based in Somalia, had announced plans to send fighters to Yemen” and as a result “A Canadian warship involved in NATO-led counter-piracy operations off Somalia’s coast now has an additional task….” [39]

Somalia and Yemen lie across from each other on either end of the Gulf of Aden where the Red Sea meets the Arabian Sea and the Mediterranean is connected with the Indian Ocean. An arc that effects the conjunction of three of the world’s five most important continents. Territory too important for the United States, whose head of state last month proclaimed himself commander-in-chief of the world’s sole military superpower, and what for the past decade has declared itself expeditionary and global NATO to leave untouched.

Obama administration prepares public opinion for attack on Yemen

Five days after the unsuccessful attempt by a Nigerian student to set off a bomb aboard a Detroit-bound passenger jet, US military and intelligence officials are said to be preparing expanded military action against targets in Yemen, the Arab country where the student allegedly received terrorist training and was equipped with an explosive device.

A series of US media reports suggest that new US-backed military attacks inside Yemen are imminent. Citing “two senior US officials,” CNN reported: “The US and Yemen are now looking at fresh targets for a potential retaliation strike.”

The network said the officials “both stressed the effort is aimed at being ready with options for the White House if President Obama orders a retaliatory strike.” CNN continued: “The effort is to see whether targets can be specifically linked to the airliner incident and its planning. US special operations forces and intelligence agencies, and their Yemeni counterparts, are working to identify potential Al Qaeda targets in Yemen, one of the officials said.”

The network said the Obama administration and the long-time Yemeni dictator, Field Marshal Ali Abdullah Saleh, had reached an agreement to allow the US to fly cruise missiles, fighter jets and armed drones, used for remote-control assassinations, in Yemeni airspace. Talks were still ongoing on whether Saleh will give permission for the entry of US helicopter-borne Special Forces.

The report comes after a series of statements by top administration officials, including Obama himself, pledging that “all elements of US power” will be used in response to the failed attack on Northwest Flight 253. The White House has been under heavy fire from its Republican opponents over the evident security failure, and a military action would serve to divert public attention from the ongoing revelations of how the CIA and other US agencies ignored warnings about the impending attack.

Yemen’s foreign minister, Abu Bakr al Qirbi, told the BBC that his country was seeking stepped up military aid, presumably as part of a package deal—in effect, a bribe for allowing the country’s territory to be turned into a battlefield for US commandos.

The Wall Street Journal reported that the Obama administration was discussing nearly tripling its military and counterterrorism aid to Yemen in the coming year. US aid jumped from $4.6 million in 2006 to $67 million this year, and would rise to as much as $190 million in 2010, according to “a senior military official.”

Reuters, citing unnamed “defense and counterterrorism officials,” reported that “the Obama administration was exploring ways to accelerate and expand US assistance to Yemeni forces to root out the Al Qaeda leadership in the country, while keeping the role of the US military and intelligence agencies as behind the scenes as possible.”

The news agency reported a clash between Yemeni security forces and Al Qaeda fighters in the western Hudaydah province, around the town of Deir Jaber.

The Los Angeles Times cited a Yemeni terrorism expert as the source of an estimate that Al Qaeda has “as many as 2,000 militants and sympathizers exploiting the country’s economic and political chaos to create a base for jihad at the edge of the Persian Gulf.” This is ten times more than other media estimates of the number of such militants in Yemen, and 20 times the number of Al Qaeda forces said by US officials to be in Afghanistan now.

PetroChina's $1.9B buy in oilsands approved

CALGARY - The federal government on Tuesday gave the go-ahead for PetroChina to buy a $1.9-billion stake in a pair of oilsands projects in northeast Alberta in what observers are saying herald warming trade ties between the two countries.

In a statement, Industry Minister Tony Clement said he’s satisfied the deal is in the best interests of Canada despite criticisms that oil and gas is a vital strategic and economic resource and should be off limits to state-owned entities.

“I am satisfied that the investment is likely to be of net benefit to Canada. After a thorough review of the individual merits of this transaction, I have concluded that it will benefit Canada.”

On Aug. 31, privately held Athabasca Oil Sands Corp. announced that PetroChina had agreed to take 60 per cent interests in a pair of oilsands leases at Dover and MacKay River, marking the largest direct investment in Calgary’s oilpatch by the Chinese to date.

Dr. Wenran Jiang, who heads the University of Alberta’s China Institute, said the deal marks a turnaround in policy on the part of the Harper government who had previously been critical of the communist country’s human rights record.

But a series of high-profile visits by Canadian officials in recent months, including a state visit by the Prime Minister himself, has rekindled the once-chilly relationship leading to greater confidence on the part of the Chinese to invest in Canada.

“It’s a very small number, but it’s big for Canada,” he said in an interview. “The Chinese recognize there has been a major policy shift. Expect more Chinese investment in the resource and energy sectors ... there will definitely be more.”

Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab (the underwear bomber) is helped on to flight 253 by a well dressed man. Umar did not have a passport or anything like that. But was still allowed to get on the plane. Umar then tried to detonate a bomb in his underwear unsuccessfully. Almost immediately after Umar was arrested the MSM was reporting that Umar was with Al-Qaida.

The MSM has not mentioned the well dressed man who got Umar on to the plane. In America They have been discussing things like tazzer bracelets for enhancing airport and airplane security. They have even called an emergency for a Nigerian man being in the bathroom for too long on flight 253 today.
In Canada. The U.S.-bound passengers are no longer able to bring carry-on bags into the cabin of the aircraft, according to Transport Canada.
They are placing RCMP officers at major Canadian airports. To help with security.

Are the average people of North America really that dulled down to believe and allow this? I mean honestly this guy was helped on to the plane by a well dressed mystery man. The underwear bomb did no damage to the plane or any passengers. But once again more security is being added and more of the peoples rights are going to be totally violated.

If we continue to allow this fear mongering, nothing good will come from it.

Think about it people. After the September 11 2001 attacks. It does not matter what kind of attack it is, or who is responsible. Are rights are being slowly taken away. We can have a senario like this one, where no one was killed or injured. There was no damage to a plane or anything else. But they need to "beef up" the security.

Olympic torch bearer knocked down

A 19-year-old protester is facing assault charges after an Olympic torch bearer was knocked to the ground Monday morning in Guelph, Ont.

Cortney Hansen, 28, was carrying the torch on Wyndam Street at about 7:50 a.m. ET when a group of protesters approached the Olympic Torch Run procession.

Police said Hansen was knocked to the ground — but the torch was not extinguished in the fall. Hansen was treated by torch run medical staff and continued her leg of the torch relay.

Police said about 1,000 people were watching the torch procession when the incident occurred.

Brittney Simpson of Kitchener, Ont., has been charged with assault and will appear in court in February, police said.

The torch relay will have covered 45,000 kilometres over 106 days before ending in Vancouver on Feb. 12, the opening day of the 2010 Winter Games.

Protests have greeted the torch at many events along the way. When the torch passed through Toronto, organizers were forced to delay the procession and take a different route to Toronto's city centre after critics rallied against the Games.

As a result of the highly suspicious incident on Christmas Day where a Nigerian man on a terror watchlist with no passport and explosive materials was allowed to board Delta Flight 253, suffocating security paranoia has been implemented to the point where bathroom visits are now considered potential terrorism.

Another Nigerian man who became ill and was forced to spend a considerable amount of time in the toilet became the focal point of another terror scare yesterday after pilots aboard Delta 253, the same plane involved in last week’s incident, requested emergency assistance upon landing.

The Joint Terrorism Task Force and Homeland Security descended to investigate the crisis and President Obama was even informed of the deadly security threat prompted by the man taking a dump.

After hours of media frothing about a second terrorist incident, the truth finally emerged.

“A passenger on today’s Northwest flight 253 from Amsterdam to Detroit spent an unusually long time in the aircraft lavatory,” Homeland Security press secretary Sara Kuban said in a statement.

“The passenger in question, a Nigerian national, was removed from the flight and interviewed by the F.B.I.; indications at this time are that the individual’s behavior is due to legitimate illness, and no other suspicious behavior or materials have been found.”

And yet this farce represents merely the tip of the iceberg in terms of the intensified harassment and lunacy now being witnessed in airports across the world all in the name of preventing a threat that is in reality less deadly than lightening strikes and peanut allergies, both of which have killed more Americans over the past few decades than terrorism.

If you thought that mothers having to taste their own breast milk and naked body scans was a little over the top, it’s only going to get worse as a result of an incident that has all the hallmarks of a staged event. Body searches, baggage searches and vehicle searches even outside of the airport are now taking place with a wanton disregard for the 4th amendment.

Authorities are too busy shaking down Grandma to really care about how a man who was known to be a security threat, was on a terror watchlist, had no passport and had explosive materials embedded in his clothing was allowed to board a plane, aided by a sharp-dressed man who lied about his circumstances.

Giant statue of Lenin and Mao the talk of Richmond

METRO VANCOUVER - A public art installation depicting Russian Communist leader Vladimir Lenin and a feminized Chairman Mao Zedong in the heart of Richmond's business district has the whole town talking.

“When I went to the gym at 5:30 this morning it’s all people were talking about,” said Richmond city Coun. Derek Dang, who saw the piece for the first time Wednesday. “People just can’t believe it.”

The large stainless steel sculpture is part of the Vancouver Biennale, a city-wide celebration of public art. The piece — Miss Mao Trying to Poise Herself at the Top of Lenin’s Head — was created by Beijing-based brothers Zhen and Qiang Gao. Their highly political installations, which include provocative depictions of Chairman Mao, are sometimes shut down by the Chinese government and their studios have been raided.

“When council decided to participate in the Biennale they didn’t give us a catalogue to choose from and maybe that’s a good thing,” said Dang. “We got what we got.”

Government Allowed Plane Bomber to Attempt Attack

A passenger who boarded Northwest Airlines Flight 253 in Amsterdam with attempted plane bomber Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab says the would-be terrorist had no passport and was aided by a sharp-dressed man who claimed Mutallab was a Sudanese refugee, just one of a plethora of startling inconsistencies surrounding an incident that has led to ramped up security and increased levels of harassment in airports.

Every single fact that has come to light since the attempted bombing on Christmas Day directly indicates that the bomber was deliberately allowed to board the plane and that his attack would have succeeded if not for the alert and brave reactions of the passengers and flight crew.

According to Kurt Haskell, an attorney with the Haskell Law Firm in Taylor, Michigan, “He and his wife were sitting on the ground near their boarding gate in Amsterdam, which is when they saw Mutallab approach the gate with an unidentified man.”

Mutallab was a poorly dressed, young looking individual, but he was accompanied by a man in an expensive suit, Haskell told MLive.com.

“He says the suited man asked ticket agents whether Mutallab could board without a passport. “The guy said, ‘He’s from Sudan and we do this all the time.’”

Although Mutallab is Nigerian, Haskell said the well-dressed man portrayed him as a desperate Sudanese refugee in an attempt to elicit sympathy and as a way of bypassing his lack of documents.

“The ticket agent referred Mutallab and his companion to her manager down the hall, and Haskell didn’t see Mutallab again until after he allegedly tried to detonate an explosive on the plane,” states the report.

Crucially, Haskell said that after the plane landed he saw another man being taken into custody by the FBI along with Mutallab. However, the FBI later said that Mutallab was the only individual taken into custody.

As the Copenhagen meeting has come and gone, we are still hearing our world leaders discuss the dangers of climate change. That carbon dioxide is the cause, and we need to act now. Even though climate gate ripped a big hole in their plans to have a world wide carbon tax. Even though 30,000 north American scientists appose the notion of carbon dioxide causing damage to our planet.

Here are a couple of subjects they are not talking about, and call you a conspiracy nut if you question it.

Bizarre cross-species beasts are not just found in science fiction novels any longer. Now fluorescent cats, spider goats, human/pig hybrids and other incredibly weird creatures have actually been created by our scientists.

Copenhagen Summit Has Established A World Government

Amid all the mainstream media reports of the talks in Copenhagen “limping” to a close and having failed, Lord Christopher Monckton, reporting from the summit, has stated that the only goal of the conference was to implement the framework and the funding for a world government – which he asserts has been achieved.

“That is the one thing that they are definitely going to succeed in doing here and they will announce that as a victory in itself, and they will be right because that is the one and only single aim of this entire global warming conference, to establish the mechanism, the structure, and above all the funding for a world government.” the British politician, business consultant, policy adviser exclusively told the Alex Jones show yesterday.

“They are going to take from the western countries the very large financial resources required to do that.” Monckton said, adding “They will disguise it by saying they are setting up a $100 billion fund for adaptation to climate change in third world countries, but actually, this money will almost all be gobbled up by the international bureaucracy.”

“The first thing they will do, and the one thing I think they were always going to succeed in doing at this conference is to agree to establish what will be delicately called ‘the institutional framework’. Now that is a code word for world government.”

Lord Monckton explained that although the word “government” has been dropped from the treaty, all the interlocking bureaucratic features of a world government are still present in the final draft of the treaty, which also legislates for a global tax on financial transactions that will be paid directly to the World Bank.

“These are the new entities that they are going to bring into being in order to create this world government” he said.

“Ban Ki Moon, the head of the UN is clearly expecting that part of the treaty to go through because he is saying that we are going to have to set up a structure of global governance just to handle the enormous amounts of money which we are going to be getting from the countries of the West, once this agreement goes through at Copenhagen.” Monckton added

Ban Ki-moon made those comments on Wednesday in an interview with the LA Times in which he also said that a formal treaty would be signed by mid-2010.

Reports from the United States are, indeed, confirming the mass movement of military supplies and thousands of Canadian Special Forces Troops to California from the Canadian Forces Base of Petawawa to join their American military counterparts, with ‘secondary’ reports stating that at least 1,000 tanks are massing their too.

Russian Military Analysts are further warning in this report that Obama has decided to implement the feared RAND Corporation (one of the most powerful research arms of the US Military-Industrial-Homeland Security Complex) police state ‘blueprint’ tilted “Stability Police Force for the United States: Justification and Creating U.S. Capabilities” that has been modeled on the Nazi German secret police forces organization Geheime Staatspolizei (Gestapo) meant to ‘control and demoralize’ any opposition to the state.

C-6 “Significantly changed”, passed back to Parliament!

The incredible team at Canadians for Health Freedom can be justifiably proud of ourselves today, as our massive lobby of the Senate resulted in two substantive amendments to Bill C-6, which forces the odious piece back into Parliament for consideration all over again!

Nonetheless, we’re not breaking our arms patting ourselves on the back. This fight is far from over. The bill now has to repeat the whole approval process, which may also include committee hearings in both Houses… and this time, there will be no tolerance of stacked testimony, and the gloves will be off!

Of great benefit in this 180-degree turnabout is the timing of it: Parliament has just adjourned for Christmas break, which will last till the end of January, so we will have more time to strategize, to organize, and to expand our outreach to more and more Canadians, each of whom deserves nothing less than the full protection of our Constitutional law.

Further, there are rumors floating around the Hill that Harper, besieged over the issue of torture of Afghan detainees, may prorogue Parliament, i.e., discontinue Parliament without dissolving it, until after the Olympic Games. While I am not a Conservative strategist, to my mind that would be another nail in this minority’s coffin, public-relations-wise. After all, if I had been mouthing off about how important it was to “stay the course”, and how this economic crisis is “far from over”, gladhanding at the Olympics would be the last place I’d want my team seen. I would rather the people were treated to seeing their elected representatives burning the midnight oil to fix what was wrong.

And on top of that, they’re being labeled as pro-torture? If I were Harper, I’d stick with the 6 weeks’ grace given him by the holidays. More brownie points in it. If he prorogues, he’ll look like he’s running, and that’d be political suicide.

I’d say it’s a really good time to kick them: they’re down.

I want to point out to everyone that while we’ve gained a great deal of ground here, and deserve to congratulate ourselves, we still have a long way to go. This Bill is still alive, if unpassed. And there will be more to follow.

Copenhagen: Leaked draft deal widens rift between rich and poor nations

Three hours after the "Danish text" had been leaked to the Guardian, Lumumba Di-Aping, the Sudanese chairman of the group of 132 developing countries known as G77 plus China, spelt out exactly why the poor countries he represents were so incensed. "The text robs developing countries of their just and equitable and fair share of the atmospheric space. It tries to treat rich and poor countries as equal," said the diplomat.

The text is a draft proposal for the final political agreement that should be signed by national leaders including Barack Obama and Gordon Brown at the end of the Copenhagen summit on 18 December. It was prepared in secret by a group of individuals known as "the circle of commitment" but understood to include the US and Denmark.

Five hours later, the UN's top climate diplomat had responded. Yvo de Boer said: "This was an informal paper ahead of the conference given to a number of people for the purposes of consultations. The only formal texts in the UN process are the ones tabled by the chairs of this Copenhagen conference at the behest of the parties [involved]."

But the representatives of developing nations felt betrayed by the intent of the proposals in the draft.

"This text destroys both the UN convention on climate change and the Kyoto protocol. This is aimed at producing a new treaty, a new legal initiative that throws away the basis of [differing] obligations between the poorest and most wealthy nations in the world," said Di-Aping.

The existing treaty is the only global agreement that legally obliges rich countries to reduce their emissions.

Di-Aping is one of the most outspoken of developing country leaders, at once charming and radical.

What the west had failed to grasp, he said, was the very deep hurt that had been growing steadily since the climate negotiations were effectively taken over by heads of state and were conducted outside the UN, the only forum in which poor countries feel they are equally represented.

The text is now likely to be withdrawn because of its reception by China, India and many other developing countries. It suggests that rich countries are desperate for world leaders to have a text to work from when they arrive next week.

Few numbers are included in the text, because these would be filled in later after negotiation by world leaders.

However, it does seek to hold global temperature rises to 2C, the safe limit according to scientists, and it mentions the sum of $10bn a year in aid to help poor countries cope with climate change, starting in 2012.

Last night the G77 reaction was seen by some developed world analysts as an exaggerated but fundamentally correct response to the way that the US, the UK and other rich countries have sought to negotiate.

Development NGOs were particularly scathing in their criticism.

Antonio Hill, climate policy adviser for Oxfam International, said: "This is only a draft, but it highlights the risk that when the big countries come together, the small ones get hurt."

Hill added: "It proposes a green fund to be run by a board, but the big risk is that it will run by the World Bank and the Global Environment Facility [a partnership of 10 agencies including the World Bank and the UN Environment Programme] and not the UN.

"That would be a step backwards, and it tries to put constraints on [emissions in] developing countries when none were negotiated in earlier UN climate talks."

A spokesman for Cafod, a development charity with close links to some of the poorest countries in the world, said: "This draft document reveals the backstage machinations of a biased host who, instead of acting as nonpartisan broker, is taking sides with the developed countries.

"The document should not even exist. There is a UN legal process which is the official negotiating text. The Danish text disrespects the solid, steady approach of the UN process."

Over the next days several new texts will emerge and out of them a likely contender to be carried by consensus of all the countries. Di-Aping said that the G77 remained committed to the talks.

"We will not walk out of the talks at this late hour, because we will not allow the failure of Copenhagen. But we will not sign an inequitable deal; we will not accept a deal that condemns 80% of the world population to further suffering and injustice."

Later this week, the rich countries can expect fresh assaults from the Africa group of countries, the least developed countries group, and the association of small island states. Each is liable to upset the best laid plans of developed world leaders who those groups say appear to place the need to reach an agreement above fully engaging with the poorest countries.

"We call ordinary people to put the utmost pressure on politicians to come to their senses," said Di-Aping.

PETA now gets the label of "Terrorist" group

PETA is not the most popular kid on the block. Between antagonizing meat-eaters and radicalizing the use of naked ad campaigns, the animal rights group has made more than a couple enemies.

This is the first time, however, that the lawful, nonviolent organization has been officially classified as a “terrorist threat.”

In a new security form circulated by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the federal department asks animal experimentation facilities whether they’ve been confronted by a handful of “terrorist” groups, including the Earth Liberation Front, known for their use of arson and explosives; the Animal Liberation Front, which popularized property destruction as a form of protest; and, yes, PETA — best known for distributing gory videos of factory farming.

Police in Denmark given the power to make arrests for thought crimes

The Danish parliament today passed legislation which will give police sweeping powers of "pre-emptive" arrest and extend custodial sentences for acts of civil disobedience. The "deeply worrying" law comes ahead of the UN climate talks which start on 7 December and are expected to attract thousands of activists from next week.
Under the new powers, Danish police will be able to detain people for up to 12 hours whom they suspect might break the law in the near future. Protesters could also be jailed for 40 days under the hurriedly drafted legislation dubbed by activists as the "turmoil and riot" law. The law was first announced on 18 October.
The Danish ministry of justice said that the new powers of "pre-emptive" detention would increase from 6 to 12 hours and apply to international activists. If protesters are charged with hindering the police, the penalty will increase from a fine to 40 days in prison. Protesters can also be fined an increased amount of 5,000 krona (671 Euros) for breach of the peace, disorderly behaviour and remaining after the police have broken up a demonstration.

The whistleblower’s data file revealed, for the first time, the innermost workings of the tiny international clique of climate scientists, centered on the Climate Research Unit at East Anglia, that has been the prime mover in telling the world that it is warming at an unprecedented rate, and that humankind is responsible… He had revealed what many had long suspected:

A tiny clique of politicized scientists, paid by unscientific politicians with whom they were financially and politically linked, were responsible for gathering and reporting data on temperatures from the palaeoclimate to today’s climate. The “Team”, as they called themselves, were bending and distorting scientific data to fit a nakedly political story-line profitable to themselves and congenial to the governments that, these days, pay the bills for 99% of all scientific research.

The Climate Research Unit at East Anglia had profited to the tune of at least $20 million in “research” grants from the Team’s activities.

The Team had tampered with the complex, bureaucratic processes of the UN’s climate panel, the IPCC, so as to exclude inconvenient scientific results from its four Assessment Reports, and to influence the panel’s conclusions for political rather than scientific reasons.

The Team had conspired in an attempt to redefine what is and is not peer-reviewed science for the sake of excluding results that did not fit what they and the politicians with whom they were closely linked wanted the UN’s climate panel to report.

They had tampered with their own data so as to conceal inconsistencies and errors.

They had emailed one another about using a “trick” for the sake of concealing a “decline” in temperatures in the paleoclimate.

They had expressed dismay at the fact that, contrary to all of their predictions, global temperatures had not risen in any statistically-significant sense for 15 years, and had been falling for nine years. They had admitted that their inability to explain it was “a travesty”. This internal doubt was in contrast to their public statements that the present decade is the warmest ever, and that “global warming” science is settled.

They had interfered with the process of peer-review itself by leaning on journals to get their friends rather than independent scientists to review their papers.

They had successfully leaned on friendly journal editors to reject papers reporting results inconsistent with their political viewpoint.

They had campaigned for the removal of a learned journal’s editor, solely because he did not share their willingness to debase and corrupt science for political purposes.

They had mounted a venomous public campaign of disinformation and denigration of their scientific opponents via a website that they had expensively created.

Contrary to all the rules of open, verifiable science, the Team had committed the criminal offense of conspiracy to conceal and then to destroy computer codes and data that had been legitimately requested by an external researcher who had very good reason to doubt that their “research” was either honest or competent.

Watch out he has... Lego?

What a perfect example of the police state we now live in. A man (must have been at home) plays with a Lego hand gun, and a neighbor See's him through the window. The neighbor freaks out and calls the cops. The cops arrive and go full out on this poor guy, who is just playing with a toy (indoors).

First off it is LEGAL to own a hand gun if you have a licence in Canada. Lets say it was a real hand gun. If he was in a private residence, not doing anything wrong. Maybe cleaning his gun, or showing it off to a buddy. What could he have been charged with? Nothing!!! So these power tripping cops went full out on the guy for no reason at all! And the best part of the story is how cowardly the neighbor is. After causing all of that over a toy, he does not even have the guts to apolagize face to face! He sticks a note to the poor guys window, and says sorry on Tweeter???

A Toronto man learned a hard lesson this week about the real danger of fake guns. Jeremy Bell found himself staring down the barrel of a police assault rifle after a neighbour spotted Bell in his office handling what looked like a genuine semi-automatic pistol.

It turns out Bell was putting the finishing touches on a handgun made entirely of black Lego bricks.

After showing his creation to a co-worker, Bell put the toy away. But the neighbour had already sounded the alarm, and a short time later the Emergency Task Force arrived with weapons drawn.

Bell was thrown up against the wall and slapped with handcuffs. After a quick investigation, police set him free.

The 29-year-old Bell says he's a lifelong fan of Lego and that won't change. And there's no bad blood with the neighbour, either, who tweeted an apology to Bell and posted a note in his apartment window.

"He's like, 'Sorry, dude, it looked real,'" Bell says.

The cops told Bell, "Hey, at least you got a good story."

Canada gained 79,000 jobs in November

Canada added 79,000 jobs last month as the country's unemployment rate dipped 0.1 percentage points to 8.5 per cent.

Statistics Canada said Friday that full-time employment increased by 39,000 in November, the third consecutive monthly increase, while part-time employment grew by 40,000, following two months of declines.

The job growth far surpassed the consensus expectations of economists, who had been projecting the creation of 15,000 jobs, and for the unemployment rate to rise to 8.7 per cent.

Calling the jobs report "stunning," a TD Economics report took particular note of how broad-based the gains were.

"We can't help but be encouraged by the fact that all provinces [except Manitoba, and marginally so] were posting employment gains as of November."

"Unless productivity cratered, the data suggest decent and regionally based gains in real GDP in Q4," the report said.

I am not an economy expert, but In my mind these gains would have been great if they where in the spring or summer. There will always be an increase in jobs in the fall. For one simple reason, Christmas. Temporary Christmas employment is not mentioned once in this article or in any others that I have read. I am very curious to see what percentage of these 79,000 jobs are temporary Christmas help positions.

Phil Jones The Climate Change Kingpin Steps Down

Pennsylvania State University, the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Queens University of Belfast, The University of New York, The University of East Anglia, the University of Arizona… the list is lengthening as more researchers at Universities are implicated in their involvement in the over 1,000 emails which were exposed.

Phil Jones announced that he will step down from his post as the director of the East Anglia Climatic Research Unit. During the investigation period, and he had this to say.

“What is most important is that CRU continues its world leading research with as little interruption and diversion as possible,” Jones said in a statement. “After a good deal of consideration I have decided that the best way to achieve this is by stepping aside from the Director’s role during the course of the independent review and am grateful to the University for agreeing to this. The Review process will have my full support.”

So after Phil Jones and the CRU flat out stonewalling FOIA requests demanding access to the data year after year.
And after all of the lies, including the recent Ooops we threw away much of the raw temperature data on which our predictions of global warming are based. (Without that data other academics are not able to check basic calculations said to show a long-term rise in temperature over the past 150 years)

Phil Jones thinks that he is going to just step aside, and let business go on like usual. With these proven liars saying trust us, we don't have any evidence to back our claims up. But we know what we are doing and carbon based global warming is real.
You just need to trust us.

We Are Cange Chicago conftronts Al Gore about climate gate

On Tuesday, November 24Th 2009, former vice president Al Gore attended a book signing event, at the Borders Bookstore on 150 N. State Street in Chicago.

The We Are Change Chicago chapter also attended the event. Several We Are change members confronted Al Gore about climategate and the hacked CRU emails. One of them even handed Al Gore the petition of the 31,486 scientists who say that Global Warming is a complete hoax.

Al gore just smirked and shrugged them off.. Then had them "escorted" out. The craziest part I think is when the woman in the crowd, who is obviously still asleep decided to tell Saad Ali (We Are Change member) how crazy he is.

I had heard reports that he had been charged with a Misdemeanor. So I looked into a little more and found a few articles like this one.

'At first we were told that he had been deported to Israel, but he never arrived in Israel. Then we were told that he had been locked up at the Patton state mental hospital in San Bernadino, CA. A call to that facility (909) 425-7543 will obtain a claim that they do not have him. We called the Twin Towers Correctional Facialty in Los Angeles at 213 473-6080, and reached an employee who admitted that Joseph Moshe has been held there since 8-13-2009. He is charged with "violating a court order". He has a Court Date on 01/25/2010 at Los Angeles Municipal Court (DIV 141) located at 11701 S. La Cienega Blvd. Los Angeles, CA.

Joseph Moshe was hunted down, had high tech weapons disabled his vehicle and presumably cell phone, heavily tear gassed, and tazered in the 8 hour "Westwood Standoff" because of a charge of violating a court order. Al Gore “laying low” in Toronto

Al Gore came to Toronto for the MTS Allstream Inc. fundraiser dinner last night. The dinner reportedly raised $100,000 for the David Suzuki Foundation.
So while the "climategate" scandal is prompting the U.S. to consider doing a probe into the corruption of the climate change scientists. The front man is up here in Canada having a great old time with our own little gremlin version of Al Gore(David Suzuki).
Al gore is praising Dr. David Suzuki, calling him "a great leader of these issues", and congratulating Premier Dalton McGuinty for the province's green energy program.

I am so sick and tired of watching these scum bags prance around like they own everything. Their claim that carbon dioxide is causing the planets temperature to rise is a total fraud! It has been proven that the planets temperature has actually dropped in the last ten years, And now with climatgate adding some gasoline to the fire, its a no brainer that we need to debate and discuss these issue's right?

Why are these people so against debate on this? I cant figure it out. Oh wait, yes I can. It is common sense. They wont debate it because the are a part of the fraud or they are just sheep that cant think for themselves!

1) The Earth and the Sun have natural cycles. They will not stay the same temperature at all times! In the life span of our sun and planet, 100 years is a blink of an eye. So to think or to say that a warming in a 100 year time span can end up being catastrophic is just insane.

2) Carbon dioxide is one of the main building blocks of life on this planet. Plants breathe it, and turn it into oxygen.

3) The real problem in the environment is the chemicals being dumped into the oceans, and genetic splicing of plants and animals.

4) When something is kept secret from the people, there is a reason for that. So why wouldn't they release the information? If it had not been hacked we still would not have any of it!

5) A carbon tax will fund a one world government (that has been admitted by many officials including the new European Council President, Herman van Rompuy)

6) When a person own a company that has a chance to makes billions of dollars every year, committing fraud is no issue to them. (Al Gore owns the company that will sell you your carbon credits)

7) Fear mongering instead of open debate will never have a good outcome!

They will not debate these issue's. So we need to go full tilt at them. We need to wake up everyone that we can, and go after these criminals. Have a few of them charged and arrested with fraud! Eldon Dahl’s Story Why We MUST Stop Bill C-6 !

Dr. Dahl sent the following letter to the Senate and to others on his list, asking that it be circulated widely. We have no problem with helping out with that! Bill c6 is a large threat to Canadian sovereignty. We must stand up to this bill, just like we did with bill C51. Please copy this post or make your own version and get his story out there!
Here are the main parts of the bill that we need to look at.

Section 2 defines for the interpretation of the Act that government includes:

2(e) a government of a foreign state or of a subdivision of a foreign state; or
(f) an international organization of states

Section 36 gives government the power to create regulations for carrying out the purposes of the Act, including adopting regulations from:
36(2)(b) an industrial or trade organization; or
36(2)(c) a government (as defined including foreign)
36(4) A regulation made under this Act may incorporate by reference documents that the Minister produces jointly with another government for the purpose of harmonizing the regulation with other laws. (i.e. a foreign government’s laws)
Section 14 sets the recall powers and other measures of government as a result of an “incident”, with respect to a consumer product,
14(1)(d)(i) a recall or measure that is initiated for human health or safety reasons… by a foreign entity
Section 64 is a General Provision for greater certainty that, “orders made under this Act…are not statutory instruments within the meaning of the Statutory Instruments Act”. This means regulations and other instruments made under Bill C6 are not subject to the scrutiny and revocation of Parliament – making Health Canada, foreign governments, global corporations and international organizations free to control Canada’s markets and to dictate consumer choice.

My Voice Needs to be Heard

Health Canada raided my loving family – at gunpoint – and kept us prisoners in our own home for 11 hours while they confiscated both business and personal property. I am a naturopathic doctor who sells 100% safe natural products. One of the excuses for the raid was that the totally harmless folic acid (a vitamin) that I sell did not conform to regulations. Instead of informing me by letter or phone call, Health Canada used swat team tactics, which caused us extreme emotional distress as well as irrecoverable financial loss. This unreasonable search and seizure is proof positive that Health Canada cannot be trusted with the powers it already has.

We Need to be Heard

The steering committee of the Social Affairs Committee has excluded witness appearance days for opponents of Bill C-6 and from consumer groups who have an interest in the consequences of this unprecedented piece of legislation. Instead of democracy, there is another agenda in motion. C-6 is fatally flawed in that it unlawfully violates both the constitution and our charter rights as Canadians. Outspoken advocates of this position, including Dr. David Rowland, Trueman Tuck, Shiv Chopra, Helke Ferre and myself have been refused witness days.

In order not to run the risk of hastily enacting an unlawful piece of legislation, the Committee needs to lift its time constraints. It needs to give equal air time to learned opponents of C-6. True democracy demands it. It should be the right of every citizen to participate in any legislative process that would deny our fundamental rights as Canadians.

Health Canada’s Hidden Agenda

I read with interest the testimony of Health Canada officials before you on 21 October 2009. They basically told you to “trust” them: that they would not abuse the sweeping powers given to them by Bill C-6. I don’t believe them. Neither will you when you read how Health Canada conducted an armed raid on my loving family and treated us as criminals, keeping us prisoners in our own home for 11 hours.

Subsection 23(1)(d) of the Food and Drugs Act gives Health Canada the power to “seize and detain for such time as may be necessary any article by means of or in relation to which the inspector believes on reasonable grounds any provision of this Act or the regulations has been contravened.” Health Canada has for many years been using this clause as an excuse to remove from the market entirely safe products which are incapable of harming anyone, and in our case are products that many count on to build and maintain their health. By means of C-6, Health Canada intends to extend its confiscatory powers to every industry that sells consumer goods of any kind.

Note that subsection 23(1)(d) above doesn’t even mention safety or harm. It gives total discretion to inspectors to remove from the market any product which they believe contravenes the Food and Drugs Act. C-6 gives to Health Canada the power to do this (and much more) to those whose consumer products simply may not happen to conform to bureaucratic dictates.

Whenever a product is unjustifiably removed from the market, consumers of it are adversely affected by being deprived of its benefits and by having their rights to enjoy it taken away. Until now, Health Canada has been using its rogue powers to restrict the freedoms of health consumers. If C-6 becomes law, then every consumer in Canada will be affected by this runaway bureaucracy.

All of the products that I sell are totally 100 per cent safe. All are freely available for sale in health foods stores in the U.S. There has never been a single documented fatality nor even one documented case of harm caused by any of the products I sell, not ever, not in the entire history of the planet. Clearly, Health Canada has for many years been using safety as a smokescreen to hide its true agenda. What is worse, now Health Canada is using safety as the banner they wish you blindly to follow.

What happened to me and my family on 15 January is shocking and incredible, especially given that it happened in Canada and in 2009. My wife and I are still affected adversely by its impact. My True Story – Bill C-6 in Action

Health Canada is already doing what they say they won’t do:

On 15 January 2009, at our home in Calgary, my wife answered the door. Four RCMP officers, one with his gun drawn and finger on the trigger burst through. The sheer force of entry damaged the locking mechanism, which lay on the floor. I will never forget the terrifying look on the face of my wife; I have never seen her so afraid. To describe the panic that I felt is nearly impossible. My wife raised her hands over her head in surrender, as an armed RCMP officer pointed his gun to her chest yelling, “That is not cool, that is not cool!” I thought she was going to be killed.

Unbeknown to us, at our daughter’s house across town, our daughter’s roommate was experiencing the same treatment. The RCMP and Health Canada broke into our daughter’s house without her name appearing on any warrant. This is her private residence totally unrelated to our business. The raiding party forced themselves into my daughter’s house and even kicked in her bedroom door.

That day’s events have permanently scarred my memory, and I live with the terror that it may happen again. I heard my wife say, “Please put the gun away! We are no harm to any of you. We are humanitarians, not criminals.” The RCMP kept us confined for the “protection” of Health Canada agents who arrived shortly thereafter, under the supervision of drug inspector Kim Seeling.

I was handed a search warrant and told of our right to remain silent, because anything said could be used against us in a court of law. The search warrant was for Folic Acid, the amino acid L-carnitine, plant based progesterone cream and other ultra safe supplements that are available over the counter in the USA or for export. I asked the officer for clarification, “You raided our home at gunpoint for common vitamins?” He answered, “We have a search warrant for these products.”

My wife asked the officers for their names and badge numbers; they refused her request. My wife, daughter and I were sequestered to sit in our living room for 11 hours. I asked the officer if I could photograph or film the investigative proceedings. He said, “You need to sit where you are. We are treating you very low key. We could place you in a holding cell till the search and investigations are concluded, but we don’t think it’s necessary if you cooperate.” Next I was supervised by two RCMP officers who forced me to open our home safe. Once opened, Kim Selling photographed its contents.

Whenever washroom breaks were needed, a male RCMP officer went with us and stood at the door and listened. Having my wife and daughter victimized in our own home clearly violated our Canadian Charter Rights. And why? Everyone has the right to be secure against unreasonable search and seizure.

Storm trooper tactics were never required. The decent and humane thing would have been for Health Canada to notify me in writing or by phone call that they suspected some of my products may not have been in compliance, the let me respond and make good on any alleged noncompliance. After all, my products are 100% safe, as Health Canada well knows.

Present Day

November 15, 2009 marks 11 months. No charges have been laid against me. My entire finished products inventory (not only those listed in the search warrant) continues being seized, my case files are sealed, the RCMP Incident Report refused, and our Access of Information report has been denied. My ability to make an income remains severely restricted because I am unable to conduct any business.

Health Canada also seized my family’s personal computers plus a tax refund cheque that was in my desk. I am an author, and two of my books that were to be published are on the hard drives that were confiscated. Thus, I am also unable to earn an income from my writing.

In seizing my entire inventory, Health Canada violated Section 37 of the Food and Drugs Act, which exempts products that are not manufactured or sold for consumption in Canada. Many of the products I sell are destined for foreign countries and fully comply with the regulations in those countries.

Health Canada also went way beyond its authority by deliberately damaging my international trade reputation. This is an abuse of power with intent to harm. They questioned Slovakia Health, stating that they had concerns about our company’s reliability. When I asked what the enquiry entailed, the inspector at Slovak Health would not say what Health Canada was asking for nor if they divulged any of my confidential information to him.

Health Canada is already destroying businesses and livelihoods. C-6 would give them the power to escalate and expand their police powers exponentially, across many industries, including every retail store in Canada. Since Health Canada has a history of abusing the powers given to it by the Food and Drugs Act (the armed raid on my home being only one example), there is reason to believe that they will also abuse the even greater powers given them by C-6.

It is one thing to examine the wording of C-6 and yet another to see and feel its dire consequences. That is why it is so important for you to appreciate what happened to me and my family. Incidents like this will become commonplace if C-6 becomes law.

I write to you on Remembrance Day. My father, like many others, fought overseas in WW II for our freedom. Who would think that in 2009 we would be fighting again for freedom, only this time within our own borders and with a rogue department of our own government?

I am not a complainer. I can take punches like anyone else; but I ask you Canadian gate-keepers, how would you feel if this treatment happened to your family in your home? Do the right thing and protect Canadian citizens from harm, but in so doing, don’t take away our constitutional rights and freedoms.

Mine is just one story about Health Canada’s abuse of power over small businesses. There are many others.

Constitutional Concerns about Bill C-6:

- Scientific Ignorance. In the total absence of scientific evidence of harm, Health Canada intends to take action against product vendors.

- Allegiance to Foreign Governments. Health Canada intends to ignore Canadian

Sovereignty.

- Disclosure of Confidential Information. The Health Minister may

disclose personal and confidential business information to third parties

without the consent of the concerned person.

- Unreasonable Search and Seizure. Inspectors may enter any premises where

they believe there are products relating to the Act. They may examine and seize anything deem relevant.

- Trespassing. Inspectors may enter on or pass through or over private

property, without being liable for so doing.

- Use of Force. Inspectors may be accompanied by peace officers authorized to

use force.

- Confiscation. Goods seized may never be returned to their owner. Anything

seized may become forfeited to Her Majesty in right of Canada.

- Lack of Training. The Minister may designate any person to be

enforcers of the Act, regardless of their qualifications, training, or

experience.

- Unlimited Powers. Inspectors may take any measures they consider necessary

to remedy non-compliance with the Act, including putting the person out of

business.

- Excessive Penalties. Anyone who contravenes a provision of the Act may be

fined up to $5,000,000 and imprisoned for up to five years.

- Presumed Guilty. Anyone whom is believed to have contravened sections of

the Act is deemed guilty of an offence – even if their products are totally

safe. Anyone who pays a fine is deemed to have committed the violation in

respect of which the amount is paid.

- No Defense. Those named in a notice of violation are not allowed to defend

themselves by truthfully claiming that they exercised due diligence to

prevent the violation. Innocence and truth are irrelevant.

- Bypassing Parliament. Health Canada intends to expand the powers of C-6

even further by issuing Orders in Council which will not be subject to

parliamentary debate.

Universal Declaration of Human Rights:

10. Everyone is entitled in full equality to a fair and public

hearing by an independent and impartial tribunal, in the determination of

his rights and obligations and of any criminal charge against him.

11. Everyone charged with a penal offence has the right to be

presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law in a public trial at

which he has had all the guarantees necessary for his defense.

12. No one shall be subjected to arbitrary interference with his

privacy, family, home or correspondence, nor to attacks upon his honour and

reputation.

17(2). No one shall be arbitrarily deprived of his property.

Canadian Bill of Rights:

1. It is recognized and declared that in Canada there have existed and

shall continue to exist without discrimination by reason of race, national

origin, colour, religion or sex, the following human rights and fundamental

freedoms, namely,

1(a). The right of the individual to life, liberty, security of

person and enjoyment of property and the right not to be deprived thereof

Except by due process of law.

1(b). The right of the individual to equality before the law and the

protection of the law.

2. Every Law of Canada shall, unless it is expressly declared by

an Act of Parliament of Canada that it shall operate notwithstanding the

Canadian Bill of Rights, be so construed and applied as not to abrogate,

abridge or infringe or to authorize the abrogation, abridgment or

infringement of any of the rights or freedoms recognized and declared, and

in particular, no law o f Canada shall be construed or applied so as to

Focus instead on the constitutional issues and the issue of foreign governments and entities making regulations that will apply to Canadians! At least one person that was included in some of the correspondence, Steve McIntyre of the website Climate Audit, verified the authenticity of at least some of the messages. McIntyre said, “Every email that I’ve examined so far looks genuine. There are a few emails of mine that are 100% genuine. It is really quite breathtaking.”

This is one of many hacked emails from the University of East Anglia's Climate Research Unit. I am going through all of the files right now. Very interesting stuff.

A recent hack into a prominent UK scientist's computer has revealed over a thousand emails that contain incriminating information against climate change and global warming proponents.

The information in these emails has been described as a 'smoking gun' evidence of data collusion and manipulation among climatologists. This data was tweaked to be in support of the widely held view that man is causing climate change.

The data has been retrieved from the University of East Anglia's Climate Research Unit, or Hadley CRU, by an anonymous poster by the name of 'FOIA'. The director of Britain's leading Climate Research Unit, Phil Jones, has told investigators from Investigate magazine's TGIF Edition that the email breach and data retrieval seem to be genuine.

Gaining the moniker of ClimateGate, if these emails and information prove to be true, they will uncover a giant conspiracy that will come to be one of the biggest schemes of our time. With many countries on the verge of changing policy for the sake of 'saving the planet', this new discovery could prove to be quite critical.

These hacked emails have been confirmed by various main stream media outlets as being legit. They are actual emails from East Anglia's Climate Research Unit, or Hadley CRU. But According to the people from East Anglia's Climate Research Unit, climate change conspiracy theorists are misreading these emails. They use terms like trick in a different meaning? COME ON!!! They are telling us don't look at we wrote for what it is.
I know that most of the population is kinda slow on these things but really... Do they really think we are that dumb?

These "criminal" hackers have just proven what nearly 30,000 researchers and scientist have been saying for the last 5 years. Carbon Dioxide is not the main cause in climate change. Climate change is a natural cycle!
The earth has actually been in a cooling pattern for the last 4 years.

So in the weeks leading up to the Copenhagen meeting this great information has been leaked, and Al Gore actually hurt his own cause.

His new book How We Can Solve the Climate Crisis, has photoshopped pictures of earth in the future. This is clearly fear mongering at a classic level! People can see this I think, because well.. lets just say the book has not exactly flown off the shelves!

The Copenhagen meeting will push the carbon tax. That is a fact. It is also a fact that the carbon tax will be used to fund a global government. If we can get this information out to as many people as possible, maybe that will change. Even if the people are not fully awakened to the global criminal government heading our way. Once they see or read information like this, they will at least question the story they are being spoon fed everyday!

One World Government The Real Aim of Environmentalism

Gore and his pals hate it when that rare breed, a free press, accuse him of being a Nazi. But, as I have discovered in my researches, Al Gore is true-brownshirt-Fascist. Yet, he is also true-red-flag Marxist! How can this be?

Both can exist at the same time because both are from the same family - socialism. One concentrates on national domination, and the other concentrates on the world. So, there is no real difference between the two. They are just two sides of the same socialist coin. And both are playing their hand at the same time. This is why Obama turned down an invite to attend celebrations that the Berlin Wall came down. He doesn’t want freedom – he only wants to impose Marxism full-blast! That socialism has failed every time it has been imposed on slave-like people, is irrelevant. What matters is the power a socialist state gives to leaders. And if that state is worldwide, it is absolute power.

Environmentalism began in the 1800s. Idealistic Germans put on their leather short pants and ventured up mountains and down into vales, extolling the virtues of the simple peasant life, calling for a return to it. Early Marxists did the same thing. Today, the same stupid idea is reflected in the fast-growing ‘Transition Town’ movement, with bases in the USA and the UK. They want to literally go back to medieval days of self-sufficiency. I have pointed out that if they knew anything about medieval days, they would know that the last thing peasants wanted was to live as they did! They were starving, extremely poor, died young, and had a variety if ailments. Ask them if they would like to live as peasants! Significantly the Transition Town movement in the UK has been adopted by subversive Marxist organisations to front their activities… which include those much-publicised blocking of airports under the guise of environmental issues. Some honest organisers admitted it had nothing to do with green issues, but with underlying advancement of Marxism.

Both Stalin and Hitler majored on environmentalism (until their money ran out – then they siphoned it all into military campaigns. So, be warned). Now, these same shadowy figures from the past have re-emerged in the current green movement.

Copenhagen and Other Lying Tactics
The coming Copenhagen Summit is all about fixing the fate of the world in stone. Or, to put it more aptly, tying one’s legs to a concrete block before throwing you into the river.

Obama has already promised to hand over the USA to the UN, for heavy taxing and overt imposition of UN laws. Both Obama and Tony Blair are waiting to drive citizens hard into the arms of Marxis-Fascist rule. Once this is achieved – and it won’t be long – the rest of the world can wait with bated breath as they are subsumed into the greater Marxist-Fascist world order. Brown has already talked about it and Obama has agreed to it. Sarkozy, Napoleon’s son, strides the EU like a totalitarian dictator… because that is what he is. And even the hapless president of the Czech Republic has recently, sadly, caved in to EU domination of Europe, which includes the things he hates the most – green policies and communistic laws that ruin freedom and democracy.

Many of the world’s leaders are now very nasty pieces of work. Even opposition party leaders are marrying into green advocacy, because they know this is the way everything is going. Vote for whoever you like – it won’t make much difference. Even so, we must stand against this tyranny.

Save the World? Marketing Drive!
Everything we see happening is the result of overwhelming Marxist-Fascist machinations to bring about world rule. ‘Saving the World’ is just a cute marketing ploy used to hide the reality of political violence against the people. The tools of Marxism-Fascism include loss of freedoms – which is why most western countries are now snowed-under by PC laws and demands; loss of choice of energy supplies and types; genocide, especially of Third World peoples – hence the refusal of greens to allow Africa to use coal and gas; increasingly crippling taxation (The UK has over 20 different taxes paid by every soul, and more are on the way); enforced acceptance of sexual lifestyles once known to be horrendous and dangerous; the dumbing-down of intellect, which is why students can no longer speak truth or seek it; loss of work for any who fight the system (I know!); reduced industrial life and output; enforced anti-CO2 laws for no reason, and so on.

So, what some think are disparate and unlinked elements, are actually all signs and symptoms of a well-planned communist-fascist takeover of the world, beginning with the West. This is what the history of the green movement, right up to now, reveals.

RFID and EMV technology in Canada

A silicon chip in your Viagra pack reports back to Pfizer on how much you took, and when. You fetch the last Coke from your chip-tagged fridge and your TV airs a Pepsi ad. Your phone company combs your trash for the chips you've cast off, selling the data it finds to marketers. And when you pick up pricey pasta at the supermarket, a screen on your shopping cart flashes an ad for a high-end sauce to go with it.

I don't understand how this is even happening. Do people not even care? RFID tracking chips in our products.. EMV chips in our bank cards and credit cards. We are and will be tracked everywhere we go!

On top of that look at the practice of companies that collect customer info without it. They sell your information to other companys so they can call you or whatever else to try and sell things to you.

Just imagine this. You are a customer Of The Scotiabank (they do have an EMV chip in their bank cards already). They collect your purchase history and then sell it to the highest bidding company. You then get a phone call that says something like, We have noticed you like this brand of running shoes, our socks go great with them! Would you like to buy them? You don't have to do anything we have your banking info here and can ship them right away.

Or you go to the doctor. He scans your implanted chip. Goes over your grocery bill and says. You have been eating to much ice cream. You cant buy ice cream for the next 30 days. That is best for your health. Then blocks the purchase of any ice cream on your chip.

Here is a perfect example. A commercial I found.

It is admitted that these cards are going to replace money! We will live in a cashless society. I could swear I have heard of that somewhere hmmmm. Oh yea the BIBLE. I am far from being a religious person but trust me the elites are!

Who is pushing the chips in Canada? There are a few people and companies, but I would say the main one is Scotiabank. Scotiabank's CEO Rick Waugh and the former CEO Peter C. Godsoe both being Bilderburg group members it is not surprising. Scotiabank was one the first Canadian companies to use the technology, and still is the "consumer" leader in it.

Please look into this, educate yourself and others. Then maybe we can stop it!

Did Baxter Release a Bioweapon in Ukraine?

Baxter has a facility in Ukraine. They may be behind the current outbreak. A November 1st David Rothscum (infowars.com) article headlined: "Has Baxter International released a biological weapon," in citing an earlier Huffington Post report on a man named Joseph Moshe, a Mossad biological warfare expert. True or not, he warned, on an August radio program, about "a biological weapon....being made by Baxter International('s Ukraine facility) that would be spread through vaccine and would cause a plague upon its release." Having reported this two months before the outbreak lends credence to his story.

In August, Ukraine was almost influenza free. On October 30, earthtimes.org said only two cases of Swine Flu had been reported. According to fto.co.za, on March 26, reports were that "thousands of Ukrainians refused" to be vaccinated, because of fears about "diphtheria, mumps, polio, hepatitis B, tuberculosis, (and) whooping cough among others. Health officials said (this) could lead to disease outbreaks...." Perhaps unleashing a "biological weapon" is how to convince them and millions elsewhere.

Rothscum confirmed Moshe's credentials, noting that "massive numbers of microbiologists have been dying bizarre deaths." Among them:

* Stephen Lagakos, Professor of Biostatistics and AIDS researcher at Harvard's School of Public Health, died in an October auto collision;
* Malcolm Casadaban, reknown molecular geneticist, died of plague in September;
* Wallace Pannier, noted germ warfare scientist, died in August of respiratory failure;
* August "Gus" Watanabe, former Eli Lilly and Company Executive Vice President of Science and Technology and former head of its Research Laboratories, died of apparent self-inflicted wounds from a .38-caliber handgun; a note left behind cited depression over his daughter's death;
* Caroline Coffey, Cornell University post-doctoral biomedicine researcher, died in June from massive cuts to her throat; and
* Nasser Talebzadeh Ordoubadi, a Mind-Body-Quantum medicine pioneer and discoverer of an antitoxin treatment for bioweapons, died in February of "suspicious" causes.

On November 7, theflucase.com asked:

Is the Ukraine outbreak "the plague? A mutated virus? Or is the plague the cover for introducing a mutated virus?" Citing the South African web site fto.co.za., it wondered if the Ukraine Swine Flu strain "might have mutated (to) pneumonic plague."

It reported Ukraine's Deputy Minister of Health saying his nation has a different H1N1 strain than the rest of the world because of how many were infected so fast. Other officials disagree and suggest this one may have mutated to something else because it "has a much bigger rate of filling the lungs with blood....The plague or virus in the Ukraine has 10 times the mortality rate (attributed to) normal swine flu."

However, unconfirmed reports are that "people are going on as normal....they also say this is fear mongering" to promote voluntary vaccinations. "Everyone is waiting for the gene sequences which will confirm whether this has been hyped up, a real mutated H1N1, or just bad (Ukraine) health services." Perhaps exaggerated illness and death reports to stoke fear and be a pretext for what followed.

Ukraine is now under martial law. Civil liberties are suspended. By government edict, anyone may be criminally prosecuted. Scheduled January elections may be delayed or cancelled. Public demonstrations are banned. Political opponents are prohibited from traveling in quarantined areas. Borders are partially closed. Mandated vaccinations are coming. WHO fear-mongering is hyping the danger. A month before the outbreak, it took part in a bioterrorism plague exercise. On November 7, Lake of the Hills, IL police conducted their own against pneumonic plague as part of the McHenry County Department of Health's emergency planning.

Burgermeister suggests that Baxter, the:

"WTO and the international corporate crime syndicate that funds them may have decided they could go ahead with their plan to trigger a pandemic in Europe and the USA because the public awareness of the dangers of the vaccine has become too great, not least as a result of WHO and Baxter being caught contaminating 72 kilos of vaccine material with the live bird flu virus in February."

Food and Mental Health

Twenty percent of Canadians will personally experience a mental illness during their lifetime. Although most mental illnesses begin during adolescence and young adulthood, people of all ages, cultures, educational and income levels experience mental illnesses.

Mental illnesses take many forms, including:

mood disorders, such as depression and bipolar disorder, which affect how one feels;
schizophrenia, which affects how one perceives the world;
anxiety disorders which affect how fearful one perceives places, events or situations to be;
personality disorders, which affect how one sees oneself in relation to others; and
eating disorders, such as anorexia or bulimia, which influence how one feels about food and one's body image.

Our chemical rich modern diet with large amounts of processed and packaged foods, saturated fats, artificial colors, flavors and preservatives and an excess of caffeine and alcohol radically changes our internal ecosystem. Considering then that ‘we are what we eat’ it is little wonder that the incidences of depression and mental illness are so widespread in our culture.

Many research studies are now concluding that eating processed foods and manufactured foods, can be related to the onset of depression. In Paul Zane Pilzer's book The Wellness Revolution he states: “It's the food supply that is causing depression and obesity in this country. It's all the refined ingredients that have their nutrition stripped away.” By eating de-natured foods we are not giving our brain the nutrients it needs to achieve a healthy and balanced mental state.

Why is it that people who pursue healthy diets tend to have a positive outlook and outstanding mental health? It's the foods...because the food we eat greatly affects our mental state, and if we eat healing foods, and foods rich in vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients, then we will have healthy mental function.

Canadian Concentration Camps
By world standards Canada is a country that respects and protects its citizens' human rights. That has not always been true, however. Many people are familiar with the story of the internment of Japanese-Canadians in BC during World War II. But not many people are aware that the Japanese were not the only Canadians imprisoned during wartime simply because of their ethnic origin. The history of Canada includes more than one shameful incident in which the Canadian government used the law to violate the civil rights of its own citizens.

The War Measures Act
The War Measures Act was enacted on 22 August 1914, and gave the federal government full authority to do everything deemed necessary "for the security, defence, peace, order and welfare of Canada". It could be used when the government thought that Canada was about to be invaded or war would be declared, in order to mobilize all segments of society to support the war effort. The Act also gave the federal government sweeping emergency powers that allowed Cabinet to administer the war effort without accountability to Parliament, and without regard to existing legislation. It gave the government additional powers of media censorship, arrest without charge, deportation without trial, and the expropriation, control and disposal of property. This Act was always implemented via an Order in Council, rather than by approval of the democratically elected Parliament.

World War I
After Great Britain entered the First World War in August 1914, the government of Canada issued an Order in Council under the War Measures Act. It required the registration and in certain cases the internment of aliens of "enemy nationality". This included the more than 80,000 Canadians who were formerly citizens of the Austrian-Hungarian empire. These individuals had to register as "enemy aliens" and report to local authorities on a regular basis. Twenty-four "concentration camps" (later called "internment camps") were established across Canada, eight of them in British Columbia. View a list of World War 1 Concentration Camps. The camps were supposed to house enemy alien immigrants who had contravened regulations or who were deemed to be security threats. In fact, the "enemy aliens" could be interned if they failed to register, or failed to report monthly, or travelled without permission, or wrote to relatives in Austria.

Other less concrete reasons given for internment included "acting in a very suspicious manner" and being "undesirable". By the middle of 1915, 4000 of the internees had been imprisoned for being "indigent" (poor and unemployed). A total of 8,579 Canadians were interned between 1914 and 1920. Over 5,000 of them were of Ukrainian descent. Germans, Poles, Italians, Bulgarians, Croatians, Turks, Serbians, Hungarians, Russians, Jews, and Romanians were also imprisoned. Of the 8,579 internees, only 2,321 could be classed as "prisoners of war" (i.e. "captured in arms or belonging to enemy reserves"); the rest were civilians.

Upon each individual's arrest, whatever money and property they had was taken by the government. In the internment camps they were denied access to newspapers and their correspondence was censored. They were sometimes mistreated by the guards. One hundred and seven internees died, including several shot while trying to escape. They were forced to work on maintaining the camps, road-building, railway construction, and mining. As the need for soldiers overseas led to a shortage of workers in Canada, many of these internees were released on parole to work for private companies.

The first World War ended in 1918, but the forced labour program was such a benefit to Canadian corporations that the internment was continued for two years after the end of the War.

World War II
During World War II the War Measures Act was used again to intern Canadians, and 26 internment camps were set up across Canada. In 1940 an Order in Council was passed that defined enemy aliens as "all persons of German or Italian racial origin who have become naturalized British subjects since September 1, 1922". (At the time, Canada didn't grant passports and citizenship on its own, so immigrants were "naturalized" by becoming British subjects.) A further Order in Council outlawed the Communist Party. Estimates suggest that some 30,000 individuals were affected by these Orders; that is, they were forced to register with the RCMP and to report to them on a monthly basis. The government interned approximately 500 Italians and over 100 communists.

In New Brunswick, 711 Jews, refugees from the holocaust, were interned at the request of British Prime Minister Winston Churchill because he thought there might be spies in the group.

In 1942, the government decided it wanted 2,240 acres of Indian Reserve land at Stony Point, in southwestern Ontario, to establish an advanced infantry training base. Apparently the decision to take Reserve land for the army base was made to avoid the cost and time involved in expropriating non-Aboriginal lands. The Stony Point Reserve comprised over half the Reserve territory of the Chippewas of Kettle & Stony Point. Under the Indian Act, reserve lands can only be sold by Surrender, which involves a vote by the Band membership. The Band members voted against the Surrender, however the Band realized the importance of the war effort and they were willing to lease the land to the Government. The Government rejected the offer to lease. On April 14, 1942, an Order-in-Council authorizing the appropriation of Stony Point was passed under the provisions of the War Measures Act. The military was sent in to forcibly remove the residents of Stony Point. Houses, buildings and the burial ground were bulldozed to establish Camp Ipperwash. By the terms of the Order-in-Council, the Military could use the Reserve lands at Stony Point only until the end of World War II. However, those lands have not yet been returned. The military base was closed in the early 1950's, and since then the lands have been used for cadet training, weapons training and recreational facilities for military personnel.

After the bombing of Pearl Harbor in 1942, the government passed an Order in Council authorizing the removal of "enemy aliens" within a 100-mile radius of the BC coast. On March 4, 1942 22,000 Japanese Canadians were given 24 hours to pack before being interned. They were first incarcerated in a temporary facility at Hastings Park Race Track in Vancouver. Women, children and older people were sent to internment camps in the Interior. Others were forced into road construction camps. There were also "self-supporting camps", where 1,161 internees paid to lease farms in a less restrictive environment, although they were still considered "enemy aliens". Men who complained about separation from their families or violated the curfew were sent to the "prisoner of war" camps in Ontario.

The property of the Japanese Canadians - land, businesses, and other assets - were confiscated by the government and sold, and the proceeds used to pay for their internment. In 1945, the government extended the Order in Council to force the Japanese Canadians to go to Japan and lose their Canadian citizenship, or move to eastern Canada. Even though the war was over, it was illegal for Japanese Canadians to return to Vancouver until 1949. In 1988 Canada apologized for this miscarriage of justice, admitting that the actions of the government were influenced by racial discrimination. The government signed a redress agreement providing a small amount of money compensation.

Could This Happen Today?
The War Measures Act was repealed in 1988. It was replaced with the Emergencies Act. The Emergencies Act allows the federal government to make temporary laws in the event of a serious national emergency. The Emergencies Act differs from the War Measures Act in two important ways:

1. A declaration of an emergency by the Cabinet must be reviewed by Parliament
2. Any temporary laws made under the Act are subject to the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

To any Canadian that does not think this can happen now, please wake up!! Look at the Americans they have FEMA "internment camps" popping up everywhere! Remember we are all under NORTHCOM's control!

Bill C6 allows inspectors to enter and cross private property without a warrant, and it releases them from liability for damages they may cause. Bill C6 has a schedule of listed products that can be added to by the minister without going to parliament for approval.

Canada already has the Hazardous Materials Act that has done a very good job! So what is the need for this new legislation? Bill C6 (formerly Billy C52) Is nothing more than a grab for power by the government, at the expense of our citizens' civil liberties.

Bill C6 could be used to restrict the health freedoms of Canadians by limiting access to health supplements and organic products.

The more I research this bill, It really seems to fall in place with the plans of the world government. The limitation of health supplements and organic products sounds very familiar to Codex Alimentarius. This really looks like the Canadian government becoming Codex compliant!

Codex Alimentarius is scheduled for full global implementation on December 31, 2009, and not a word has been spoken in main stream media about this threat to humanity. Yet, according to the projections of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), a minimum of 3 billion people will die from the Codex mandated vitamin and mineral guideline alone.

We cannot let this bill pass! Take a stand for your health and the health of your families!

Joseph Moshe “Swine flu vaccine is bioweapon”

They wanted us to believe that Joseph Moshe was a nutcase and a terrorist, arrested for threatening to bomb the White House. Interesting detail about his arrest (the “Westwood standoff”) was that he seemed to be immune to the 5 cans of tear gas and 5 gallons of law-enforcement grade pepper spray they pumped into his face. He very calmly remained in his car, as the video footage of his arrest shows.

Professor Moshe had called into a live radio show by Dr. A. True Ott, broadcast on Republic Broadcasting claiming to be a microbiologist who wanted to supply evidence to a States Attorney regarding tainted H1N1 Swine flu vaccines being produced by Baxter BioPharma Solutions. He said that Baxter’s Ukrainian lab was in fact producing a bioweapon disguised as a vaccine. He claimed that the vaccine contained an adjuvant (additive) designed to weaken the immune system, and replicated RNA from the virus responsible for the 1918 pandemic Spanish flu, causing global sickness and mass death.

Joseph Moshe made no threat against the President or the White House. He did not mention any bomb or attack. He then proceeded to inform the White House he intended to go public with this information. When he noticed men in suits in front of his house and feared that the FBI was about to detain him, he packed some belongings into his car and, him being a dual Israeli citizen, tried to reach the Israeli consulate located in close proximity to the federal building where the standoff took place. The FBI and the bomb squad prevented him from reaching it. Who is this man? His profile on biomedexperts.com says he is a plant disease expert with many publications on his name involving the genetic manipulation of virii.

Joseph Moshe was soon after his arrest sent or let go to Israel. Nothing has been heard from him since. The Secret Service was not the agency involved in the surveillance of Moshe at his home in California. This was done by the FBI, who had orders to detain or arrest him. Mounted on top of a large black vehicle used in his arrest was a microwave weapon that possibly damaged the electronics in Moshe’s car as well as any communication devices he had which might have been used to contact the media or others who could help him.

Moshe did not suffer the same effects of the gas and pepper spray that others would have because he had built up an immunity to such weapons as a by-product of his Mossad training. Moshe was not handcuffed because he was not placed under arrest.

Baxter Pharmaceutical has been caught, red-handed, in spreading a live, genetically engineered H5N1 Bird flu vaccine as a lethal biological weapon all over the world, destined to be used for human vaccinations. This happened just a few months ago. And only luck prevented a global catastrophe of epic proportions.

Baxter knew full well that their vaccine was lethal, because the year before they had tested it on a few hundred homeless Polish people – dozens died as a result.

My take on this:

Joseph Moshe mentioned the Baxter lab in the Ukraine, and now only 3 months after his arrest, look at what is happening in the Ukraine. A mystery disease has broke out. With over 1 million infected, and anywhere from 140 to 3600 dead! (We cannot get an exact number of dead at this point.) All within a 2 week period.

Joseph Moshe was going to blow the whistle on these disgusting excuses for people. He saw what was going to happen and tried to stop it. The elites did not want that, and he is now gone.. vanished into thin air.

Recently a task force chaired by Mr. Strong revealed that the post-cold war period has "become nothing less than a global experiment in international development."

Striving to make this "global experiment" a reality, Maurice Strong has recognized the unique position of his native country in the international arena. Only a few short months after the 1992 Rio Earth Summit (UNCED), he announced to a group of prominent Canadian political advisors that,

Canada at this time is in a position to make a unique contribution to fulfilling the promises of Rio by committing itself to be a model of sustainable development...It offers the prospect of uniting Canadians behind a new vision of their own future and a new generation of leadership internationally.

Unknown to the majority of Americans, Canada has positioned itself at the cutting edge of international environmental/political change. Although its population is one tenth of the US, its leadership role in the "global experiment" cannot be overstated. As Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chrétien once said,

We are one world. We in Canada feel this deeply. Responsible international citizenship is one of our proudest shared values. And the place we exercise that responsible citizenship is in multilateral organizationsthe town hall meetings of the world community.

Consider these Canadian examples of "responsible international citizenship."

- Canada co-sponsored the 1972 United Nations Conference on the Human Environment (the first Earth Conference) held in Stockholm, Sweden.
- The World Commission on Environment and Development (WCED), producer of the influential report Our Common Future, convened a special meeting in Ottawa, Ontario in 1986. At this WCED meeting, the idea of a "world conservation bank" was forwarded. Keep in mind that the WCED was the key organization promoting the term "sustainable development" in the late 1980's. Canadians Maurice Strong and Jim MacNeill served as commissioners to the WCED, with MacNeill acting as the Commission's Secretary-General.
- Adopted in Montreal, Quebec, the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer formatted international rules to combat "global warming." The Montreal Protocol has since made an enormous impact on national and international climate policies, hitting both consumers and industries with new levels of bureaucratic red tape.
- Canada co-sponsored the 1990 United Nations World Summit for Children, which spawned the Convention on the Rights of the Child, a set of parental behavioral laws that threaten families the world over.
- Canada played an influential role at the 1992 Rio Earth Summit. This was evident at the highest level with Maurice Strong acting as the summit's Secretary-Gerneral.
- Emerging from Rio was one of Canada's most far reaching initiatives, the creation of The Earth Council, which is headquartered in Costa Rica. Led by Mr. Strong, The Earth Council is now in the process of drafting and implementing the global Earth Charter -- a new world-wide green constitution binding mankind to earth servitude.

In the words of Prime Minister Jean Chrétien, "Canada is in the forefront of efforts to ensure that the United Nations is prepared for the challenges of the future." Indeed, his country's involvement in the international globalization process has been extremely systematic. Besides being the planetary meeting ground and sponsor for major sustainable development events, Canada has furthered the path to globalism by contributing to the environmental "intelligentsia" -- the thought process undergirding the movement. Consider the following quotes from a 1992 meeting of the Canadian Council for International Co-operation.

We need a unified one world order to replace the collectivity of nation states at the international level. The Euro-American model which now dominates the world systematically disables people, destroys the earth and creates dependency on wage labour.

In this model, politics loses its left-versus-right conflict and moves instead towards a fundamental concern for the health of the ecosystem...Democracy is replaced with "biocracy," where not people but life-sustaining systems are the central concern. Democracy remains a need within this model, at both local and global levels, but as one part of the whole system. "Participation" becomes more than people's physical presence and deepens to contain a cultural and spiritual dimension...To implement these concepts, we start with bringing the community together and look at the land resources available. We decide how we want the community to evolve and decide who has control of the resources.

Likewise, the following statement from the Canadian federal government to the United Nations contains a similar thread -- a sustainable world order based on complete world management.

Canada believes the establishment of an international financial and economic system that is conducive to sustainable development must be a cornerstone of efforts to implement Agenda 21. Canada strongly supports efforts to reform international organizations to ensure effectiveness and efficiency in the promotion of global sustainable development.

Paying For World Government

Recently, the Canadian federal government passed the acceptance of a new international tax on world monetary transactions. Known as the Tobin tax, the ensuing billions collected would be "a feasible part of a new world order and new world vision," as stated by Lorne Nystrom, member of the Canadian House of Commons. Nystrom explained the purpose of the tax to the House, using the example of 1995 currency transactions and the amount that would have been raised based on that particular year,

If there were a 0.1% Tobin tax on foreign currency transactions, that would raise, in 1995 dollars, $176 billion U.S. That is a lot of money. A Tobin tax of 0.003% would be enough money to fund United Nations peacekeeping around the world. One of the consequences would be the establishment of a global village which would have a common good amongst the nations of the world. There would be a strengthening of international organizations. The United Nations would become a meaningful world government. There could be permanent international peacekeeping forces. There are many things that could be done. How would this be implemented? There are a number of ways of doing it. The International Monetary Fund could be reformed to do it or the World Bank could be reformed to do it. My preference would be a new international financial agency to administer the Tobin tax. Who would collect the tax? National governments would collect the tax around the world.

The World Federalist Association National Youth Conference, which was held in Washington DC. At this conference WFA Issues Director, Chuck Woolery, spoke about the Canadian passed Tobin Tax. Visibly excited, Mr. Woolery explained how a short time after the Canadian Parliament passed the tax, the WFA brought a Canadian delegate to DC for the expressed purpose of giving guidance on how to pressure US policy makers to do the same. If the US government follows this lead, and it is already being pressured to do so, American tax dollars will go directly into UN coffers.

Planning For A New World

Of all the Canadian provinces, Maurice Strong's home of Manitoba has become one of the most persuasive in furthering sustainable development principles and agendas. One of the most overt of these initiatives took place in Winnipeg, Manitoba between October 17-20, 1990. Hosted by the provincial government, the World Environment Energy and Economic Conference (WEEEC), also known as World '90, was attended by over 3000 delegates from around the globe. As a joint venture between UNESCO and the International Council of Associations for Science Education (ICASE), the WEEEC had for it's official theme "Sustainable Development Strategies and the New World Order."

The introduction to the WEEEC's final report connected itself with the World Commission on Environment and Development (WCED). Speaking on the work of the WCED, the introduction revealed that, "Emerging from the work of the commission was the revolutionary concept of Sustainable Development Strategies as the New World Agenda." In extending this WCED link, the forward to the report explained, "The World Environment Energy and Economic Conference focused on recently introduced sustainable development principles that will affect policies, plans and the direction of programs in the coming years on a global scale." Appropriately, the WEEEC final document was titled Sustainable Development For A New World Agenda.

To ensure that global sustainable development initiatives achieve fruition, the WEEEC recognized the importance of using public education as an agent for world change. Dennis Chisman and Jack Holbrook, members of the ICASE executive board, presented a chapter in the World '90 report entitled "The Future Direction of Sustainable Development in the Curriculum." In it they explained, "The role of the teacher will inevitably have to change. They will become more involved in facilitating changes of attitudes and guiding students to gain values rather than merely teaching factual knowledge." Chisman and Holbrook further revealed, "The overall strategy is to design courses so as to prepare for a 'sustainable development' literate society."

What would learning encompass in the academic world of Chisman and Holbrook? Expanding on the concept of sustainable education, the ICASE board members shared on the importance of global "values" for education, including "population control and support," "intercultural tolerance," "the transfer of appropriate technology," and "environmental literacy." All of these items would eventually make their way into the Rio Earth Summit two years later.

Creating A New World Police State

Disturbing as the WEEEC educational platform was, the most insidious aspect of World '90 was the presentation on creating a "Global Green Constitution." Presented by a Greengrass Institute delegate, the theme of creating a world constitution based on sustainable development principles was given an entire chapter in the WEEEC final report. Spouted as being "a global perestroika," it was explained that this "revolutionary" global green political machine would encompass a form of "human rights."

Popular or not, green governments will oppose any culture if it proves to be prejudicial by means of gender, age, colour, race, religion, belief, sexual orientation, mental or physical condition, marital status, family composition, source of income, political belief, nationality, language preference or place of origin.

The concept of framing a global "green" constitution was directly linked to national education contributions aimed at furthering this new world agenda. As explained in the report, uncooperative nations would not be tolerated,

Each nation's degree of dedication to educating the people would be the first indication of green government. The education process would centre on the need for a Global Green Constitution...Eventually, a public referendum would be held in each nation state with the objective of obtaining a simple majority in favour of enshrining a Global Green Constitution. Those nation's governments where a majority have declared for a Global Green Constitution in a referendum vote would indicate that they are prepared to attend a Global Green Constitution Congress...Every nation's government would ultimately be a signator to the Global Green Constitution. Obligation to do so would come from grass roots pressure within democratic societies. Less democratic nations or dictatorships would be brought on side through sanctions.

Specifying more drastic measures yet, World '90 literally called for a global police state to ensure the complete success of the "New World Agenda,"

The issues are not about if a global politics is necessary. The question is how do we achieve binding agreements in Law complete with effective programs for applying sanctions against non-compliance that would oblige each nation, regardless of size, to abide by a set of principles that are required to guarantee the survival of life on this earth. Perhaps we will find that there is no other alternative to a system of rigid controls that some would equate to a police state. Unfortunately, in order to save the planet from biocide, there have to be very powerful constraints from doing the 'wrong' things. The constraints must transcend national boundaries, be world-around and enforceable. There would be a need for an agency for preventing eco-vandals from acting unilaterally.
Enforcement agencies would need the power to act without being invited by the offending nation. Therefore, there needs to be an agency that is acceptable to all nation states on the planet. We can probably accept the fact that there will always be one or more nations that will not go along but there must be effective sanctions in place. If sanctions do not work, then physical occupation and the installation of a World Trusteeship would be imposed upon the offending nations.

Jordan McFarland, a high school athlete from Alexandria, Va., left Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children Tuesday night in a wheelchair nearly a week after developing severe headaches, muscle spasms and weakness in his legs following a swine flu shot. He will likely need the assistance of a walker for four to six weeks, plus extensive physical therapy.

“The doctor said I’ll recover fully, but it’s going to take some time,” the teenager said.

Liberal MLA: Winter Olympics protesters are terrorists

In the Canadian bill of rights it clearly states:

(a) the right of the individual to life, liberty, security of the person and enjoyment of property and the right not to be deprived thereof except by due process of law;
(b) the right of the individual to equality before the law and the protection of the law;
(c) freedom of religion;
(d) freedom of speech;
(e) freedom of assembly and of association; and
(f) freedom of the press.

So I guess when people decide to exercise the freedom of speech, and freedom of assembly they should be called terrorists?

Liberal Burquitlam MLA Harry Bloy said in the legislature on Monday that people who protest the winter Olympics are nothing more than "terrorists" who have limited intellectual capabilities.

The Burnaby-Lougheed MLA further iterated, according to the Burnaby News Leader, “They do not understand, these terrorists, the potential goodwill and economic benefits that come from these Games, because they have a limited intellect and do not understand how the world truly operates
Kathy Corrigan, member of the New Democratic party and a critic of the 2010 Winter Olympics, was completely surprised by Bloy’s comments, “My guess is he probably regrets calling protesters 'terrorists.' I mean, I hope that's not what he thinks protesters are.”
Nevertheless, Bloy doesn’t regret any of his remarks. In an interview on Tuesday, Bloy added further that the protesters are terrorists because they “disrupt, intimidate and terrorize animals and people.” Therefore, he stands by what he said.

Pneumonic Plague in the Ukraine

The official amount of people sick with the “mysterious”/Plague Virus as of Nov. 6 2009 is 871,037 and 109 dead.

At some point the officials will Have to admit, they have the Pneumonic Plague spreading.

They are going to need to be honest about the deaths also. Their numbers are not matching what sources have said inside hospitals. Also remember 600 medical personnel were sick as of yesterday.

The Ukranian President Victor Yushchenko declared martial law. and announced the National Security and Defense Council will become the supreme ruling authority following the rise of a new pneumonic plague outbreak. The Ukrainian Health Minister Wasilij Knaizevicz also said the country’s top prosecutor should open criminal proceedings against anyone opposing the implementation of mass flu vaccination campaigns.

They will arrest people and prosecute them if they do not take a vaccine? There is NO vaccine for the Plague!!

The infections have also started to spread into the neighbouring country of Belarus.
The Belarusian capital Minsk has seen an estimated 10 deaths of persons suffering from pneumonia preceded by flu-like symptoms. Public health workers were working to identify the virus causing the illnesses.

There has been very little media coverage of this, I wonder why? We hear so much about H1N1, but the worldwide number of infections (Official WHO numbers) is just over 400,000.

Here is where things get strange. There have been reports of large chemtrail campains over the Ukraine just before the outbreak started.

Kiev, Ukraine - Authorities in the town of Kiev, Ukraine denied any spraying of "aerosolized medication" by aircraft over the city. This after it was reported that light aircrafts were seen flying over the forest market area that sprayed a aerosol substance to fight h1n1 or swine flu.

5 Sources confirms this and the local newspapers of Kiev also received hundreds of phone calls from residents and business owners close to the area the planes were spraying the suspicious substance. Not only that but local businesses and retailers were "advised" to stay indoors during the day by the local authorities.

As if that is not enough, the government authorities also pushed the radio stations in Kiev to deny the reports. Online on forums, websites and blogs reports came in about eye witness accounts that confirms this. There was also reports of helicopters spraying aerosols over Kiev, Lviv, Ternopil and throughout Ukraine.

30th October the Ukraine president Viktor Yushchenko ordered the army or Ministry of Defense to establish mobile hostpitals to provide “essential medications” for people infected with h1n1 (swine flu).

Then just recently the entire Ukraine was put under martial law, more shocking is the statement before the serious pneumonic plague broke out “Due to the complex epidemiological situation in the western regions of Ukraine, where tens of thousands of people have become ill, thousands are in hospital, and dozens have died.”

This is complete crazyness!!! Come on people I have said it before and I will say it again... Please wake up!

The Men Who Stare at Goats

How much more disgusting can our society get? The movie promotes that it is based on a true story! This is some what true. The actual "men who stare at goats" where a part of a mind control experiment conducted by the C.I.A. This was a program not to create super soldiers, but to control the minds of the public. And of coarse the program was tied right in with MKULTRA. Which if you don't already know, was and is an experimentation program on the American and Canadian public. MKULTRA consisted in such things as taking a mental patient, giving him LSD for 80 days straight, making him believe that the doctors where his parents and that they hated him! Or how about dropping LSD and other drugs in water supplies for small towns, and even high ranking military officers where slipped drugs. It goes on and on!! Look it up people!

And now people are going to watch a butchered version of the story, and make a joke out of it! How funny is it? That they are experimenting on you, then making a movie about it, and making alot of money from it.

"There is increased evidence for an association between rectal, colon and bladder cancer and the consumption of chlorinated drinking water", this according to the President's Council on Environmental Quality.

Why Use Chlorine?

Chlorination is used extensively by municipal water treatment plants to disinfect water. However, the gaseous chlorine used by these plants is much too dangerous for home use. Household bleach (a 5.25% solution of sodium hypochlorite which is equivalent to 5% available chlorine) can be used for disinfecting drinking water (How to Super Chlorinate). When chlorine is fed into water, it first reacts with any iron, manganese, or hydrogen sulfide that may be in the water. If any residual (un-reacted) chlorine remains it will next react with any organic material (including bacteria) present. In order to ensure that the water remains protected throughout the distribution system, an excess of chlorine, usually .5 parts per million (ppm) is added. In large systems chlorine will be added again at distribution junctions. This "rate of feed" is normally adjusted to make sure that sufficient chlorine is available to fully react with the organics present. When both the mineral and organic reactions have been completed, any residual chlorine remains in the drinking water. Most people find the taste of water with residual chlorine to be objectionable but they do get used to it! Chlorination kills many pathogenic bacteria (including those which cause typhoid, cholera and dysentery), however cyst forming protozoa (Cryptosporidium) which cause amoebic dysentery, and giardiasis are extremely resistant to chlorination.

So What's the Problem?

Chlorine as stated above is a very effective disinfectant and has been used in drinking water supplies for nearly 100 years. What concerns health officials are the chlorination by-products, "chlorinated hydrocarbons,"known as trihalomethanes (THM's). Most THM's are formed in drinking water when chlorine reacts with naturally occurring substances such as decomposing plant and animal materials. Risks for certain types of cancer are now being correlated to the use of chlorinated drinking water. Suspected carcinogens make the human body more vulnerable through repeated ingestion and research indicates the incidents of cancer are 44% higher among those using chlorinated water.

To minimize the risks of using chlorine, the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) adopted new regulations in November 1980, requiring cities to cutdown the chlorination by-products in water to a level not exceeding 100 parts per billion. Dr. Robert Harris, an environmental scientist and one of the three members of the White House Advisory Council, said that while this new reduced level is a beginning, but it still doesn't provide proper safeguards and should be strengthened. Dr. Harris recommended that citizens find out the current levels of chlorinated by-products in their drinking water and if necessary buy bottled water or home purifying systems. Yet, there is little likelihood that the use of chlorine will be discontinued since it is currently the MOST ECONOMICALLY acceptable chemical for bacterial control at this time.

It is ironic that chlorination, the very process by which we cleanse our water of infectious organisms, can create cancer causing substances from otherwise innocent chemicals in water. Cancers of the kidney, bladder and urinary tract are more common in certain cities than others; why? New Orleans takes its tap water from the highly polluted Mississippi River and adds chlorine in excess of government standards to insure protection against infectious diseases. Approximately 63 new carcinogenic compounds are created in Mississippi drinking water when chlorine combines with methanol, carbon disulphide, and other substances

Fluoride:

The acceleration of the aging process by fluoride occurs at the bio-chemical level by means of:
enzyme inhibition;
collagen breakdown;
genetic damage; and/or
disruption of the immune system per se.

Fluoride interacts with the bonds which maintain the normal shape of proteins. With distorted protein, the immune system attacks it's own protein, the body's own tissue. Fluoride (at 1 ppm) in drinking water:

damages the immune system by inhibiting the migration rate of white blood cells to infected areas;
interferes with phagocytosis (the destruction of bacteria and other foreign agents by white blood cells); and
induces the release of superoxide free radicals in resting white blood cells.

barium:

barium compounds that dissolve in water may cause paralysis or death in a few individuals. Some people who eat or drink somewhat smaller amounts of barium for a short period may potentially have difficulties in breathing, increased blood pressure, changes in heart rhythm, stomach irritation, minor changes in blood, muscle weakness, changes in nerve reflexes, swelling of the brain, and damage to the liver, kidney, heart, and spleen.

uranium:

Uranium has both chemical and radiological toxicity with the two important
target organs being the kidneys and the lungs. Health consequences are determined by the
physical and chemical nature of the uranium to which an individual is exposed, and
to the level and duration of exposure.
The main chemical effect associated with exposure to uranium and its compounds is kidney toxicity. This toxicity can be caused by breathing air containing uranium dusts or by eating/drinking substances containing uranium, which then enters the bloodstream. Once in the bloodstream, the uranium compounds are filtered by the kidneys, where they can cause damage to the kidney cells. Damage can be detected by the presence of protein and dead cells in the urine, but there are no other symptoms.

Mercury:

Mercury poisoning (also known as hydrargyria or mercurialism) is a disease caused by exposure to mercury or its compounds. Mercury (chemical symbol Hg) is a heavy metal that occurs in several forms, all of which can produce toxic effects. Its zero oxidation state Hg0 exists as vapor or as liquid metal, its mercurous state Hg+ exists as inorganic salts, and its mercuric state Hg2+ may form either inorganic salts or organomercury compounds; the three groups vary in effects. Toxic effects include damage to the brain, kidney, and lungs. Mercury poisoning can result in several diseases, including acrodynia (pink disease), Hunter-Russell syndrome, and Minamata disease.

Symptoms typically include sensory impairment (vision, hearing, speech), disturbed sensation and a lack of coordination. The type and degree of symptoms exhibited depend upon the individual toxin, the dose, and the method and duration of exposure.

Arsenic:

Exposure to arsenic can cause various health effects, such as irritation of the stomach and intestines, decreased production of red and white blood cells, skin changes and lung irritation. It is suggested that the uptake of significant amounts of inorganic arsenic can intensify the chances of cancer development, especially the chances of development of skin cancer, lung cancer, liver cancer and lymphatic cancer.
A lethal dose of arsenic oxide is generally regarded as 100 mg.

Ammonia:

Ammonia: poisonous when swallowed, extremely irritating to respiratory passages when inhaled and can burn the skin on contact.

'New world order' needs better economic grounding: Carney

Bank of Canada Governor Mark Carney said Thursday that renewed globalization is going to require more transparency.

Despite the meltdown, globalization has been good, he said. "Globalization lifted hundreds of millions of people out of poverty and created the potential for hundreds of millions more to share their destiny."

But it's not clear how international commerce and finance will be reorganized coming out of the recession, Carney told the International Economic Forum of the Americas in Montreal.

Carney proposed an agenda for fixing the failures that caused the recession, saying "the next wave of globalization needs to be more firmly grounded and its participants more responsible," in part because a belief in markets has been weakened by policy-makers and private players who didn't always live up to their responsibilities.

Carney suggested the "new world order" needs:

More transparency to avoid problems such as inadequate disclosure on securitized products.
More efficient markets that are less susceptible to extreme price movements, which contributed to companies failing and the global economy crashing.
More prudent regulations, such as new capital requirements for banks, to help smooth the credit cycle.
Ensuring all countries accept responsibility for promoting a better international monetary system, which could include allowing their exchange rates to adjust.
The decisions made in the recovery could influence how open, equitable, and prosperous the new world order will be, he said.

'More to come'
Carney said there are still major adjustments being made to inventories, investment growth will be negative into 2010, G7 unemployment will rise and excessive levels of private debt must still be cut.

"Although global demand and trade levels appear to be approaching bottom, and inventory and labour adjustments have already been substantial, there is still more to come," he said.

Governments have fought the economic shortfall with more spending, but they need to develop realistic exit strategies to avoid stifling the recovery, Carney said.

I have been watching a few things about the dollar not being backed by anything. How it used to be backed by gold, and even after the federal reserve system took over. John F. Kennedy tried to have the dollar backed by silver with executive order #1110.

People want to give a piece of paper (money) value by backing it with gold/silver. This makes no sense to me.. Because what value does gold or silver have?

Honestly think about it. What values do gold or silver have? Is it useful in everyday life? Is it something that can improve your standards of living? Or is it just a shiny rock that makes nice looking jewellery?

The only thing that gives gold/silver/money any value is our own minds. We believe that it is important, we believe that we need it... But do we really?

If we stopped putting so much time and resources into these things that have no true value, just imagine what could happen! Maybe we could solve some real issues.

This is all part of the matrix of control that we face. The nwo/illuminati know that if they keep us chasing our tails with trivial things like this, they have us. You have to remember if the elite control all of the paper (money), what makes you think they don't control the gold and silver?

Barium (toxic to all humans and mammals, primarily effects the cardiovascular system), Aluminum (effects the nervous system), Ethylene Dibromide (banned in 1983 by the EPA), Selenium, Red and White Blood Cells (including unidentifiable cell types), Microplasma Fermetens (found in 45% of veterans who came down with Gulf War Illness), Bacterium Pseudomonas Flourescens and Aeruginosa (cause serious blood infections and effect the immune system), a fungus called Streptomyces (non lab form, causes severe infections in humans) Bacillus (used in genetic engineering labs, contains what is known as a DNA restriction, used to create exotic viruses).
